Kaiti, I am 5'5". What frustrates me is that 3 1/2 years ago I was at 135 and now I can't break 150 to save my life! But then again, 3 1/2 years ago I wasn't 36 1/2! (A young friend pointed out the other day that Sept marks the half point for my March b-day, so I am 36 and a half now! LOL)

I once remarked to a friend that I was some age and 1/2. Later that day I got half a birthday card (literally cut in half). I had to wait unit my birthday to see what the punch line was. ;D Miles

Put on 70lbs with her Then lost all of that but about 5 lbs and got prego with Mikey I will not try to break 150. 8-)Mikey and Tara are in school, I am worrying about nothing but dishes and laundry at home now. Oh and the puppy who is 6 months old :Dwho is about to eat us out of house and home ;D

;D Miles got in there before me in answering you Marja!! ;D
I know in most of Europe it is now totally 100% metric measurements (litres, kilometres, cms, centigrade etc) whereas in the US it is generally the more traditional measurements of llbs, miles, fahrenheit etc ... whereas in the UK we seem to have a hotch potch of both !! ;D which is ALSO highly confusing at times!! ;D

Well, Miles, I was officially 36 & 1/2 last Tuesday, so someone owes me half a card! ;D ;D As far as metrics, I have no clue so thanks for answering Marja. As far as weight goes...I have just come to accept my metabolism ain't what it used to be. But when you see me vs. the rest of my family (who are all VERY overweight) I am doing good. As a teen I was always very tiny..barely weighed over a 100 when I married Cam's dad. I then settled into married life and adult hood and put some on, and some more, and a little more. Then I got pregnant and ! Cami was 9 lbs. 11 oz. after-all. Then I went on the Slim-fast plan and lost a good-bit. The 135 I mentioned earlier was where I was at when I was featured on the Slim-fast website as a success story. www.slim-fast.com/testimonials/testimonial.asp?testimonial_id=197I have since gained since then and can barely squeeze into the shorts I am wearing in the after-shot...but oh well, I do what I can! I am trying though to get back on my Slim-fast breakfast and lunches though...I do so want to drop at least down to 145. To me, five pounds is five pounds!

Thank you Miles!! That did explain it a little better, so I would be 5´6 then 168cm Anne, at least you know what they are talking I get all these gallon´s(both U.S. and U.K) pound´s and inches when I´am used to simple metric system OH, and for the update: dh has been on that -10 to -11kg for couple a week´s now... but to be honest, it´s pretty much the goal-weight(184cm) he made for himself, and it has only been a little over 2 month´s

My weight is staying about the same, but then again, I still can't get a good schedule that will allow me exercise--unless I get up at 4:30 in the morning. I'm NOT a morning person. I'm spending much time in the afternoon helping DS with schoolwork (well . . . ok . . . a little time here, too; I suppose I COULD cut the computer time out ) I've read that us women in our 30's and 40's need a little extra body fat to store estrogen. So I don't think we should feel too guilty. BTW, I weigh significantly less than anyone else in my family, too. That IS an encouragement. DH needs to lose weight too--to cut out the snoring. That's the only thing that motivates him so far--my ending up on the couch because he keeps me awake with his snoring. He feels bad about it.

I'm trying to at least keep proportionate over here. This German waist line is going to make me look like an old frau by the time I'm 50 ???I don't want that As long as the measurements are apart by 10 inches......quick Marja, how many centimeters ;D ;D

LOL Frumpy...oh come on you are ten (and a half) years younger than me!! you look good and probably always will the way you work at it....Frumpy ! NEVER! not in a million years! I would rather go down fighting...We could all just stay drunk alot and then we could use that warning about how we look as an excuse...never frumpy! ;D ;D ;D ;D

I could get a t-shirt that says, "I'm storing estrogen. I don't know what HIS excuse is." but DH would disown me. ;D
