I'm at 36 so I've lost a total of 4 lbs., but I hesitate to say it for fear that this is just one of those fluctuations and the weight will go back up.

Just an update ... Holding my own, no change. That would be great if it were my goal. Oh well, at least I am not going backwards. Miles

FinnDad is going to be looking svelte for his birthday!!!
I am down another 1 lb... total of 9.5 lb since June 22. Slow and steady right?
Keep up the water, bump the exercise, and drop the lbs... one day at a time!

Status quo for the week. No change, I think. Spent a whole week sitting on my rear for 10 hours a day. I got to get out and do some walking. Miles

Been keeping busy for the week, stepped on the scale this morning and for a change I saw a new smaller number. That brings the total to.... who knows??? Not my worry anymore, just keep working on it. I was about 15 minutes into a workout this morning when I heard this huge thud!! Nate fell out of bed. End of workout. Trid, I always wait for the walk signal. I feel like such a loner standing there when everyone crosses against the lights. Someone has to set the example. My profession is kind of like the clergy. If you don't practice what you preach, people don't believe you. Miles

Good Job Miles OK, I have decided that I will put my heart in to it....at least for the next few days. Yesterday I walked 10, 795 steps :Dwich is about 5.5 miles for me. Today I am only 1, 335, but I still have to go to work New goal for steps is 11,000.......did that the other day, but forgot to get in here to record it

Kaiti, I had one of those step meters and was getting huge numbers. I realized I was putting on the steps while sitting. Pretty amazing, eh? I have the tendency to bounce my leg while on working on the computer and it was registering as a step. I am sure you really are walking like a maniac though. Miles

I've changed up my routine some and am TRYING to get back on my Slimfast but other folks keep interfering. LOL I brought with me a six pack of shakes for breakfast and a box of bars for lunch Monday to have this week, with some apples and carrots for snacks. Yesterday I got a very rare invite from dh for lunch and today one from my dad. Last I stepped on the scale I didn't see a change in numbers but I have decided not to dwell on that...since I do workout at Curves and I do a interval weight/aerobic D. Austin workout every other day my dh keeps reminding me that I could be gaining muscle and that is why the scale's numbers aren't budging. Keep that in mind too Miles when you see yours going nowhere! Speaking of Curves and dh...there is a machine there that works the chest and he has been swearing for months my chest was getting bigger. While shopping for some new clothes last weekend he finally was proven right...I had to buy a bigger bra. I just had a coworker comment to me that it looks like I have lost some weight and Andy swears up and down he sees a few differences/improvements from the resistance/weight workouts, but I don't see anything. What I see is that when I went shopping for clothes I had to buy a size 10 in jeans where I usually buy a 8 and I had to buy a large in shirts where I sometimes can get a medium. I jokingly told him that my boobs have grown because since I had the lipo in the abdomen and flanks area the fat now has to find other places to go. ;D I don't know but I have decided I won't dwell on it and I'll keep exercising for my health. I know at 150 I am far under where others I know would kill to be so I should shut up and be satisfied. As people keep reminding me..."I'm not getting any younger."

What ever do you mean Miles, I'm running like a maniac.....then again a couple of kids weren't there this morning, so I didn't have to chase after them when they decide to run into the halls because they feel like it Great Job Christy. Can I ask, how tall are you? I'm about 5'6". I can't seem to break 170, but my jeans are looser, so I might see a size 10 or even 8 by Christmas, We all have our dreams
