;D Hello all! I am cami'smom from old site and the same here (just without the apostrophe). I am 34, been married 8 years to my second husband (a wonderful stepfather to Cami and husband to me) and am as the name says, mother to Cami, who will be 12 on November 11.
I am so glad this site was formed and we'll be able to keep up what we had at ADHD.com. I'd been posting there for just over a year.

:-/Hi Everyone. I'm StrugglingAgain from the other forum. Thank goodness someone on here was smart enough to know how to start up another forum. I loved being a part of the other, but maybe it was time for a change anyway. I'm married 34 years, with an adopted-at-birth son who is now 8 and severe ADHD and ODD. It's been a nightmare particularly since he was four and now with all kinds of different meds, therapy, etc. it still isn't much better. We get a note from the school 2-3 times a week. Hopefully we'll be able to give each other tips and lend a shoulder when needed. Thanks soooo much, Veronica!!

MomA here--just like on the old site. And thank you, thank you for creating this one! I only found the place late last spring and would really miss it.
I'm a Mom of one super-hyperactive ADHD son. He's six and in first grade. My husband was recently diagnosed also, but that's been obvious for a long time.
I'm so glad to see so many still here for when I need to remember I'm not alone.

Hi, I'm Cat. I was Catatonic on the old site. I'm Catatonic here. I think I've become permanently catatonic and it's all my kids' fault!
I have a 14-year-old boy, 12-year-old boy, 9-year-old boy and 2-year-old daughter. The 9-year-old is ADHD. The oldest is a teenager, which is possibly worse. A teenager, a 2-year-old and an ADHD'er in the same house is a sure way to make me REALLY REALLY grateful the 12-year-old is so sweet and trouble-free.
Bless you, Veronika, for opening this site. I don't know what I'd do without the help and support of the "Natural Alternatives" gang.

Hey all,
New to site. Just found it yesterday. I have a 7 yo daughter with ADHD. I bet you can guess her name. She is the apple of my eye.
I struggle daily with the fact that she has to put up with ADHD and all the excess baggage involved. It's tough enough just to be a kid nowadays.
Been struggling with meds since she turned 4, and have pretty much run the gamut except Stratera. She is currently on 36mg of Concerta in the morning and 1 mg of Guanfacine at 8 a&p. 5 mg of Ritalin in the afternoon for homework.
This combo seems to be working OK, for now.
