Hi, I am from the other site also. I have a 6 year old son that was just diagnosed last week with ADHD and put on Adderall RX. I am so glad this board was started.

I'm Jean, 37 yo. WOHM to 3 great kids, a 12yo DD, 8yo DS with ADHD, and a 4yo DS. My son was DX'd about a year ago. I was a newbie at the ADHD.com site and hope to participate more here!

Hi to all.... I'm Anna, married 4 yrs., have 2 rugrats, 8yo and 4yo. The oldest, my daughter, was diagnosed w/ADHD when she was 4. My son, so far, doesn't show any signs...(thank goodness)!!! I'm so glad to be here!!! I was going to post on the other board, till I found out it was moving. So, I hopped my happy butt over here...so cool!!!.......  Fantastic to finally be a member. A friend is someone who won't stop until she finds you and brings you home. |

My name is Joshua....the girl...LOL, Yep I am a girl... I am the single mom of Gabriel, who is a wonderful, bright, verrrrry active 8 yr. old with ADHD. We live in NYC.
THANK YOU VERONICA!!!! for starting this board. I was starting to panic. The old board kept me sane and was wondering if I would have to admit myself into the psychiatric ward of my nearest hospital...LOL... Thank God I won't have to do it now....LOL....
On a serious note. The old board truly was a God send to me. I have found a tremendous amount of support from all of you at the boards and quite honestly, do not know how I would have managed without you guys. So...with all of my heart I would like to thank you all for the wonderful support you have given me in the last month. THANK YOU. GOD BLESS YOU ALL

Hey everyone! I'm Brandy, also from the other site. Divorced 2 years, raising a 6 year old ADHHHHD son. We're still playing the "find the right med" game. He was dx'd in April and since then we've tried Adderall XR, Strattera and we're starting Concerta tomorrow. Keep your fingers crossed!

Hello all! New to the site. I feel better already. Not so lost. Name: Kelley Married for almost 10 years (some days it feels like 100, others it feels like 10 days). I recently started marriage counseling without my husband. The counselor recommended a book about ADHD, which I believe very strongly that my husband and 12 year old son have. Very tough time lately. I hope this site helps me cope. |

My name is Mandi and have been married for a little over a year. I am a full time mom to a 5 year old stepson with ADHD and ODD. I also have a VERY ACTIVE 1 year old. I am currently a college student and work a part time job.

I found the ADHD boards a couple of weeks ago and was diagnosed @ 40yo just a month ago, then my thirst for more info led me here. The help from reading these boards is immeasurable. thank you.

Ouh yeah, and I´am from cold north Europe, Finland actually. Happy to find these kind of a good support-groups like this and adhd.com
