Actually....it's not a bit funny! My poor husband acts like he can't read when it comes to directions of any kind. I get so frustrated...it's like reading to a child...."Now push this one, now push that one, Honey!" But Heaven help you if you should consider TOUCHING his remote...oh nooooooo, not that! I also made the mistake of getting him remote speakers for the tv....so now he can blare it even more, right into his head. Oh well, he's never listened to me when I say anything anyway.....now he has an excuse.

We have had our Dishnetwork for almost 2yrs and dh still doesn't know how to work the remote. He thinks the only channel it goes to is the History Channel ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D and then IF we get to watch something else I will ask him to push the button for the guide and boy you would think the world came to an end~~~gets all angry and says what button is that blah blah blah ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D the kids and I just laugh at him which makes him more mad then he goes upstairs and watches the history channel ;D ;D ;D ;D

;D ;D ;D Oh toooo funny !! I can relate !! I can relate!! ;D
I assume that dish network is a satellite dish? We have one - have had it for 5 years now ... and dh is STILL trying to get it completely figured out!! ... ;D
Much more basic than that though .... at the weekend he put up some lining paper on the ceiling in the hall (which had fallen through due to a plumbing problem) ... he remade the bit of the ceiling and then the final touch was the lining paper ... he mixed the glue with water ... and .. it didn't STICK !! ... I suggested that maybe we should READ THE INSTRUCTIONS ... at which point we found that he was meant to IMMERSE THE LINING PAPER IN WATER before sticking on !! ... Oh WHAT A DIFFERENCE IT MADE when he FINALLY followed the INSTRUCTIONS!! ;D ;D ;D

we always call the instructions " De-structions" because that what whatever it is dh is doing looks like before he picks them up to read it. aaaaahh gotta love men ;D

I never realized that I was in the minority. I even stop and ask for directions. Why waste time pretending I know what I am doing when it goes so much faster to read the directions someone else took the time to figure out. No sense in tooling around town looking for something, when I could hop out of the car and ask. My wife jokes that I am the only male in the world that does that. Miles

He might TRY to teach a class, but the students would get lost trying to find the place!
