Yippee! It took my parents awhile to get theirs figured out too. One bad thing about theirs is that whenever it rains, the signal is interrupted. Do you know HOW often that is in FL in the summer?

whooooohoooooo Skay, why don't your parents just get cable? Or are they where cable won't come to them? We have parts of Alloway that teh cable company won't cross the railroad tracks because it would "cost to much for them to be worth it"

My cable was messing up and with the dish it was about 20 bucks cheaper...I figure that the money I was saving can go in to the gas tank

You had Both hooked up? Oh and gas around here has been a pain. The local guy with the gas station......he was a bit higher because he couldn't buy in bulk, but it is killing me. Ihave to run all teh way 2 towns over toget gas, just to have it. The company he deals with changed thier policy and apparently want $20,000 up front His daddy had the business from the Esso days..tell me that ain't a pain............he's just planning on doin gbasic mechanic repair if he has to to keep it open.

I had cable and I canceled it because they increased the rates again. I am sure some of you have the same cable company

We have Comcast. I cna't complain too much since thats our internet provider too. We don't have too many problems. Except when it is lightening. We just got a package deal for digital a couple months ago, and everytime lightening strikes SOMEWHERE it goes all wierd

Linda did you have Charter Communications? That is who we had. We also went to dishnetwork because it was cheaper and we got way more channels. With cable we only had about 35 channels (just basic nothing extra) now we have 3 receivers and the 120 package (no extra movie channels) and pay about 8.00 more a month (including local channels). Levi loves watching discovery--NASA--history---and animal planet (which is my favorite). Have to admit that I like watching VH1 classics which show videos from the 80's. Did we really dress like that ;D ;D P.S. Also I saved money because we hardly ever rent movies anymore and I have only ordered movies off the tv once. I also forgot I love watching the old movie classic channel~~my dad and stepmom just got dish a few weeks ago and my sm says "they still have movies that are black and white?" my sis and I are like ~~well what can we expect they have lived with 4 channels for the last ? years ;D ;D ;D ;D

I keep threatening that if things get thrown in the house during a sporting event the TV is going out the window. I have since rethought it. I'll just put the parental control lock on all sporting events ;D ;D ;Dand NOT tell him the pass code
