I now live outside of Philadelphia, PA but am a native of New England. Born in Pittsfield, MA and most recently lived in Milton, VT! I miss my snow flakes but don't hate me for that! I have been known to worship the sun too! I loved to read this topic at the old site, and I hope we can start it again! My DH doesn't let me post pics of the boys, so this may be the next best way to get to know each other! Laurie

Hi tridlette,
I think this a good idea!! ;D I live in a very very small town in Northeastern Kansas. I grew up here and moved back home last year. My hubby was army so we have been in quite a few places... I am so glad to be home!! My family is all here except one sister. My kids get to grow up and play with their cousins and they love it!!! I look forward to learning more about all of us!!

I live in Midlothian, Virginia. It is a suburb of Richmond. Being a Navy brat and having served 10 years in it myself, I have seen a lot of the world.
But my heart has always belonged to Virginia.

I live in the frozen tundra of Alaska .. I am 65 miles northwest of Anchorage in a town called Wasilla. I live on a two acre dead end road. My kids can play in the yard without being run over by cars. The only drawback is every few days a momma moose and her twins, decide to use my backyard as a poop patch and nibble my trees and flowers. We dont mind that anymore. The kids love the moose and named them.. its Spot (the momma) Moosey the twin with a white patch and Nemo for the one who is orange tinted. I love it here, and we are expanding our house and adding more bedrooms.. We want to adopt more kids soon.

Good Day All, I always loved looking back at the site too. I'm in the sticks, actually in the center of town, but my husbands friends always told me I was the the "cross roads" One light, one bank, one school, small town and I love it!!
Alloway is one of those towns that you spend your child hood dreaming about getting out of and then you realize what a great little place it is so you move back!!
New Jersey by the way

LOL Rosy!!!!! I totally agree with the couldn't wait to get out of this place attitude!! I couldn't get out of here fast enough as a teen.... But as an adult I couldn't get home fast enough!! I love it here also.. Wouldn't dream of being anywhere else... But I have to say the only business we have in town is a bar/restuarant.... No gas stations, grocery stores or banks. We don't have any street lights either! ;D The nearest town is 18 miles away!! I love country living!!! Erin

At least we have a gas station, except for the fact it's the closest one for about 10 miles, and we have one vehicle. Not bad except with all of the high winds that just came through, a branch landed on the poor kids car that works there and cut power to the whole station.
Wow, two pumps, but everything is run electronically, so needless to say when my husband was leaving for work he was hoping he had enough gas to get him there.
We do have a hardware store and some crafty antiquey places, they are trying to build up the historical value of the town.
YUP, small town fever Kaiti ;D

:)Hi all I was not shure if this was for "U.S-natives only" thread But here it goes anyway! I live in Finland, northern Europe, (Scandinavia). Finland is a nation of 5 million(yep, believe it or not, there are countries with so FEW inhabitant´s ;D) We have borderlines with Russia, Sweden and Norway (if you have any idea where those are ) I live in a totally different time-zone than you do, it´s 7 hours more than CT, so thats why I´am alwayssuch an "early riser" (wich I´am totally not ;D) Although we are a little nation, or mayby just because of it, living in here is quite peacefull, i love it in here. Lot of wild nature, clean water´s etc. Nokia-cellphone is from Finland. (there is aproximately 3 million cellphone´s in here) I love this site, as well as the old one, this is truly a good place for suport and info. Thank´s everone Marja

Another sticks-livin gal here. We live inthe country about 25 miles South of Springfield, Mo. We've got cows, pigs, the whole 9 yards. Nothing well known around here at all. Well if you count Brad Pitt and Don Johnson were raised around here.
