I lived in Port Orchard WA for 7 years while in the Navy. Then we moved to Bentonville, AR. I grew up in Howell MI and would someday like to move back.

well tridlette, I am probably not that far from you, my family and I live in Lancaster Pa , where the Amish roam in their buggies, in fact my husbands grandmother rode in one till she was married and had her husband drive her everywhere. it is a wonderfull place to raise boys and there is a lot of things to do when the tourists go home

I'm from the great state of Texas...Houston, that is....southeast Houston, almost to Galveston. We moved here from northern MO in August. We've lived in TX before and I'm more than thrilled to be back!! 'Don't plan on going anywhere again!! I've found great doctors here for my 8 year old son, the school is "trying" to do right by him, and the neighbors are wonderful.

(Translation: Long Island, New York. Brooklyn is where I grew up and couldnt wait to leave. Now I'd like to leave Long Island and find someplace much quieter. And cheaper.)

I live in Wichita Kansas. Home of nothing. Just very flat plains. LOL All of my mom's relatives live in Wichita. She passed away a couple of years ago and that summer I drove from VA to Wichita straight through. 23 hours (I know that was dumb but I really wanted to get there) When I got to Kansas I was so tired and worried about falling asleep at the wheel, then I realized that if I did and ran off the road, it was so flat and treeless that I would run out of gas before I hit anything. Shannon, not making fun of your state! I had a great time there getting reacquainted with all my relatives. And it's not completely flat, you got the Flint Hills. I couldn't get over the lack of trees though.

Another sticks-livin gal here. We live inthe country about 25 miles South of Springfield, Mo. We've got cows, pigs, the whole 9 yards. Nothing well known around here at all. Well if you count Brad Pitt and Don Johnson were raised around here. Where at? I am from Seneca or Joplin area. I used to live in Springfield but have relocated to Claremore Oklahoma (by Tulsa.) ;D

I live in South Jersey, about 30 minutes ( one hour with traffic, which there is most of the time!) outside of Philadelphia. It looks like there are a few others who live pretty close by! Maybe we'll all have to get together for coffee some time.

Hello every one!!!! We live in a small river town on the Mississippi. It is called Hamiltion and it is in Illinois. It's population is 3,000. It borders Iowa and Missiouri. They call this area the tri-states. We have one school here, but just across the river they have a few more in keokuk, Iowa. My husband grew up here and I grew up about an hour away in Fairfield, Iowa. We moved here my senior year and my parents opened a Breadeaux Pizza restaraunt. They ahve been in business for 15 years. Has anyone had Breadeaux Pizza it is a franchise pizza place? This area is where my parents were born and raised. I love the midwest and the small river towns. Shelli
