Hi Linda, it looks like you got a ton of answers here! Good Luck with the evaluation. This hits home for sure: Oh my god, and ever since we started down this path, it's like I've become HYPER AWARE of her issues. Is that normal? I've been doing this, too. Every time he does something, a light bulb goes off. Oh Yeah, now I'm seeing it. I'm almost positive this it. It's really hard reading that your child isn't "normal". (but what's normal anyway?) sorry to be joining in so late, i was out of town. lindad, i do want to say welcome to our forum family!!! it looks like you have already seen how amazingly supportive our members are!! i do know how you feel, i think we all do. it is all so scary before, the unknown is always scary. if you do get a dx, that can only be helpful. you already had the behavior, with a dx, you will be able to learn how to treat it. try not to panic about what will be, what should you do or not do. we are all here for you for questions, venting, whatever you need. please let us know how the appt went.
