Remember wearing a nice dress and fixing your hair up for the first day of school? (or am I showing my age?) Ms Rose wore pink and green camoflage (sp) pants and a pink tee-shirt, with her hair pulled back in a pony tail. Oh well.

I couldn´t believe my eyes at morning when all 3 were up and ready even before the due-time Oh well, I guess that´s gonna change soon

Cami's first homework assignment was Friday. Of course she didn't want to take it to her dad's so she saved it for last night. It took FOREVER since she doesn't take med on the weekend. As far as getting up and getting ready she is still doing very well there, but the morning attitude is starting to show some again. Oh well, win some lose some I guess.
Marja, I hope your luck with this continues. I know like me you were dreading it. lol

Cami's first day she wore jeans with black hightop converses (remember those?) with white laces adorned with pink stars, a shirt with a monkey in a camo hat that said "Major Attitude" and wore a thin fleece camo jacket over it. What happened to our cute little girls?

:)Cami'smom, Rose has several of those tee shirts too. A bull dog in camo. A cat with a camo hat that says "Camo Princess". The only place Rose will wear a dress is to church. Then it's usually skorts so she doesn't flash the congregation.
I remember the converse high tops. I knew a guy in high school who had about 8 pairs and about 16 different colored laces.( He rang a cow bell at foot ball games too. He was a little strange He's a CPA now I hear..)

I also am not looking forward to the morning routine. I feel like such a witch after I get the boys off to school and then promise myself that the next morning will be better---NOPE the same. We are starting the bedtime schedule this week and I hope we have it in place by the first day next week. Now Now lets not pick on us people who use a cow bell at football games ;D ;D ;D~~ I have 3 of them along with lots of plastic bottles with blue/gold beads in them (those would be my shakers) AND last but not least my very favorite football noisemaker are my AIRHORNS (yes I have 2 of them). I am always handing out some kind of noisemaker to the parents ;D ;D

Well we start school tomorrow here. We picked up their schedules last week, so we know what teachers they have. Amber got to meet her new band director, and he seems to be loads of fun. He told her that at one of the varsity football games the jr high band will be playing with the highschool band, but they will be playing trashcans. Sound great!! He also wants to start a flute choir for anyone in grade 7 and up to perform at some local entertainments. Of course Amber is gung ho to join. Dan has 3 of his coaches for teachers, so he is now really looking forward to highschool. He also will be in Ag this year for the first time, so this will be all new. (he wants to raise a goat) He has also been choosen as strong saftey for JV football as a starter and strong saftey for varsity as a back up. He wont get any play time on varsity, but will be in uniform and on the field, so he is happy. He did not want to be on varsity because he wanted more playing time, but this way he has both. I hope this year goes as well as it seems to be starting out.

Well I got schedules done Levi's was fine but Riley's was another story. Last May I went to his IEP and they gave me a copy of his schedule for this school year~~low and behold when we go to pick up his schedule today it is totally different. Luckily I brought a copy of the one they gave me in May. Well after talking with the counselor we got all his classes changed to what they showed me last spring. Lucky thing I am on top of these things---they should know that by now . Tomorrow Riley has to go get his pictures taken and Levi gets his pictures taken Sept. 1st. I can't believe school hasn't started and I already have to shell out $$ for pictures. Well the count down has begun 7 days til doomsday I hate to see summer vacation come to an end.
