I thought it would be fun to start a general wish list for ourselves, our kids, the world, etc.... There has to be more than me who dreams of these things. I wish for: Acceptance: for all people to live together accepting each others differences, color, creed. Maybe then our kids could be accepted as God made them, without meds or suppliments, behavior charts, etc... A sense of belonging for all. Sharing: a world where there is no hunger. A place where no one is afraid to share what is extra.

My wish is pretty simple. I believe if we could all do this one thing then the rest would be taken care of in the process.
My wish is that every time we stop to see what is wrong we also pause to do something constructive. That's it. More doing and less talking.

LOL
I want an island where moms can go and there are no children or husbands......there are books, dogs to pet, all chocolate food groups, the ocean.........>sigh<. Massages, hot tubs, all night slumber parties, new movies <that we can watch without someone talking through it>, and soft pillows and beds. No housework, no IEPs, BIPs, Section 504 meetings, no court dates, no CPS/DSS/ interventions............
We can wear whatever we want, eat whatever we want, go have fun and have unlimited credit card usage at all the stores of every type. Cars are free to use, and no bills for anything....LOL
Anyone care to join me?

Well, I am a guy... But I probably won't get my first wish. ;D Let me check with the wife. Just a sec... Yup, just what I figured, she said no... My second wish, and this sounds corny, is that this online community of support, caring, and acceptance, could be an actual town. I would move there in a minute. I am not kidding. How could our kids (with ADHD or without) not thrive in a place like this. Ok, for my third wish... A Cadillac XLR convertable ;D ;D For my fourth wish, just a sec... Nope, she said no again

I'm with you, GSDMommy! But we need some Dreyer's Toasted Almond ice cream in there with the food groups...
I wish Katie wasn't so angry and unhappy. She brings most of her trouble on herself, and I wish she would see that and decide to make a change. I wish things weren't so hard for her.
I would also like to move to the same town with Dad2Brooke. Wouldn't it be great to have people around you who understand! And schools for our kids where we don't have to argue to get them what they need.
And somewhere along the line, I'd like a BMW Z4. A bright red one. And no cops to give me speeding tickets!

;DI love it! I'm with you Ralph, maybe thats what started this. My 11 yr old was called "stupid" by one of his friends. He has a learning disability. I want some where where this won't happen and kids don't cry because they are different. Today I got one simple wish, the kids are off to school and I'm here alone with my sweetened coffee doing what I want for a change!!! Sue

My wish list is soooooo loong yall!! LOL But if I had to choose I would first agree that I wish there was more of an acceptance for not just our kids but all people.. regardless of race, religion, gender, age, etc.... What a wonderful world that would be... ;D I also think that a town like this would be awesome... I would be there in a heartbeat!!!!! The vacation would be terrific... Someday I will get my Dodge Ram 4x4 crew cab truck... Cherry Apple Red with Grey leather interior decked out to the top!! ;D ;D I have to say the one thing I want more than anything else in this world is Peace in my home.... That seems nearly impossible recently and I fear it is not even close to getting better. Erin

I wish we all were content, that no one had to do without and those who had gave to those who didnt so we would all feel peace.I wish for understanding, that we would first think of the other person and how we could help instead of how we could offend or condem.I wish everyone believed in God and Jesus and lived as they would have us then we truly would be happy.I wish all parents loved their kids, and all kids loved their parents.I wish I didnt feel embarrased when my son did something not socially acceptable but thought about his feelings first and always.I wish lovers fell in love to stay and daddies never went away.....oh wait is that song...lol....I too wish I could move to that town Ralph but I wish we didnt feel the need to have it.

I would like to join you on that very enticing vacation plan... When are we going?
I wish I could go on a vacation and come back to a town where our children could just be free to breathe. I would move today and help buid a community like that.
I wish we had a time when we could get together in one place and meet face to face and our kids know each other. To know they had some peace and friendship in this unaccepting world.
I also wish that those who have plenty could or would share with those who don't more often.
I wish for acceptance of all people so maybe then we could all just accept one another for who we are and not what is socially bound.
This is a great Idea.. Thanks.... Have a peaceful day,
Christina

Ok, so we all go on our dream vacation and come back to our town that is full of COOL vehicles. I vote for Ralph for mayor. We gotta have a really good ice cream shop in town too! Maybe with a hot tub and masusse (sp) in the back. Hey a water park would be fun for all our active kids! Oh, I want some Baily's Irish Cream for the hot tub.

Thanks a lot Jorgy As the duly elected Mayor (by a landslide majority vote of one by Jorgy), my first order of business is table a motion for the name of our town. I nominate the name "Acceptance." Do I hear a second? Second order of business is where to build our town. (Since we are wishing) I propose we make it portable. That way we can have snow one day to build huge snowpeople and go sledding, and then the next day dig our toes in the sand of some tropical island. Final order of business is where to build the water park/ice cream parlor/hot tub/massuese/Baileys Irish Cream distillery. I nominate Jorgy's backyard! ;D
