This is getting to be too much for me. First I have to imagine people, now accents?? Is a 'Jersey' accent like the typical drawl like on NYPD Blue? Wisconsin accents are kinda normal, kind of like Michigan's. On the topic of accents, I have to admit when I was on vacation in South Carolina, I was very timid speaking because I knew I was a northerner, and I might have gotten treated differently than a local. Maybe not. Miles

As a New England Girl, I know I have a slight accent... but Kaiti does have the So. Jersey twang... like the word "WATER" is pronounced wooder. And DRAW is prounounced drawl. Think of Sylvester Stallone... that is the Phillie/So. Jersey accent. Or Bill Cosby, Kobe Bryant, and Will Smith... they are the local boyz.
But I need to tell you without a doubt that I DO NOT have the Boston Accent... I grew up about 29 miles from Albany, NY. And it isn't the Maine drawl either. My parents were from West Virginia, directly WEST of Pittsburgh. Speech specialists (linguists) teach Radio/TV broadcasters to lose all accents. They strive for the Pittsburgh as the ideal language. Since that is where my parents came from, it was I grew up with in my house, and my father was very strict about drawling... couldn't cheat!

I have a midwestern mumble. I'm trying to make myself enunciate more, but I'm usually too busy trying to concentrate on what I'm saying.
