I thought it was cute. I tell you, I'll be glad when this election is over. I am sooooo sick of all the political commercials. All any of them seem to be is one bashing the other. I personally think that shouldn't be allowed. I do believe that with this war, this election and it's outcome is an important one... and a hot one as well. A good bit of my decision is based around whose going to do what about Iraq. My brother leave for Iraq in just a few short weeks. Right before the holidays of course. I don't know if I could take anything happening to him.

My brother leave for Iraq in just a few short weeks. Right before the holidays of course. I don't know if I could take anything happening to him. I have a very dear friend who is leaving this week, and his FIRST baby is due Thanksgiving Day. I sat with him and his wife at the wedding Friday night, trying to be positive and trusting in God that he will walk his OWN daughter down the aisle some day. They know this baby is a girl... My heart breaks every time I think about them. My prayers are with you during the coming months... and with your brother every day. HUGS.

You know, it's the d**ndest thing with the military how they always send them over right before the holidays. I have an old friend that was a military wife and she would always complain about how they act like they care (the gov't) but they don't. They have the attitude that "if the army wanted you to have a family, they would have issued you one".

I find it quite amusing that if I listen to the "attack" ads, I'm more willing to vote for the person they're attacking (at least until I hear the rebuttal).
Probably because I'm a liberal in a conservative area... ;D

I feel the same way Alla! Unfortunately, both presidential candidates have done their fair share of "attacking".

I also cannot wait until this election is over . In my "postal" mailbox yesterday alone I must have had 10 pieces of junk mail about who to vote for ----and that was only the mailbox---lets not forget how many private callers or unavaliable calls I get a day from both election camps. I believe there are only 5 days left until election day--yahoo ;D. I just found out yesterday that my brother is taking classes in florida and afterwards it looks like he will be going over to Iraq----I hope not but he will have my full support because that is what he chose to do. My brother has been in the Army for 17-18 years. Right now he is a drill sargent and lives in Georgia with his wife and 3 kids. His oldest is going to graduate next summer and then he is going to also join the army. Everybody that has family and friends over in Iraq have my prayers and support until they come home!
