I was looking for a thread but can't find it, Caught myself. I can't remember where it was. Any how, LAUGH OF THE DAY>>> I was typing an e-mail for my hubby to read when he got home, you know those I love you this much sappy ones. Well....drumroll please How stupid is that. I am still sitting here laughing almost in tears. He's at work, so it's not even like he's reasing over my shoulder. OMG. I think I'll be laughing all day about this one. Have a , faster day than me ;D Kaiti

I needed the laugh too. While I actually read a letter, I hear the voice of the person who wrote it, so if I have ever heard your voice, I can hear you talk to me... but if it is a chain letter, I have to slow down to mechanical robot reading. I have "voices" in my head for each of you on the board... as well as images of what I think you all look like. Tara is a slim, blondie... Mikey is missing his front teeth on top... that sort of thing.
You aren't alone in how you communicate depending on the audience! It is a basic part of Speech 101 in college... know your target audience!

LOL rosyred! These type of things which happen to me quite frequently, are what make me so happy I am blonde, so I dont have to make excuses... LMAO Natural obvious handicap (for ME not meant for all blondes!)..

I just admitted it to my husband, he just shook his head. That's ok, I'm blonde too ;D ;D ;D
OK, trying to think of a good little cutesy rhyme....It'll come to me.
We're Blondes, Unite, We're very very uptight Ok so that's a lie, I'm not too uptight.
BUT Let's see Tridlette does have a point, almost like when you read a book and you have the voices and thoughts in your head. But then they have to ruin it and make a movie, totally off, then you rethink that they should have hired you to hire everyone else.
Man, I need to get a life, rethinking movie actors. Go figure Kaiti ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

Wow... put me on the spot. That's what I get for opening my mouth. (I don't see any smiley's with feet sticking in the mouth)
Linda... you are a sweet lady with slightly chubby cheeks and dark hair, twinkling eyes... green! I hear a sing song voice with all your sage advice.
1mom... I cheated, I've seen your book! But before that I saw the tall, slender dark haired mom who wouldn't take it from anyone who tried to cross her cub!
Marja... I see a golden blonde with smart looking glasses and beautiful teeth! I hear you carefully pronounce all your words, and no... you aren't at all nasal. That is only for the stiff upper lip British aristocrats!
Kaiti... you are petite and firey. Full of energy and always smiling. You always have laughter in your voice.
Me... I am another smiley girl, born blonde, female, left handed and Polish... and my parents are from West Virginia... thus I am irresponsible and fun loving. But I didn't marry my cousin despite the hill billy back ground! I have a very childish voice, people have always asked if the can talk to my parents on the phone.
Ralph... he is devilish in every way... but he has dark hair, beard and mustache nicely trimmed and a wonderful baritone voice!
Can you hear me whispering my descriptions so that I don't offend anyone. I am barely touching the keys because I am very timid about having to speak in front of the crowd!

I just came into this thread (where have I been I wonder?) ... its brilliant ... first of all we have Kaiti giving us all a huge laugh (which is NOT unusual!!) ... THANKS Kaiti!! ... ;D Added to that we have Laurie giving some fantastic descriptions of others on the site!! ... I am not sure whether I dare ask how you see me Laurie? hee hee ... Maybe we should have a section in the "Getting to Know Each Other" section of photos of ourselves?... We have done the kids - now what about US? ;D

Laurie,
I want to know what you think I look like too. Post it and then I'll send you a picture to see how on you are.
BWT, I saw Linda and Kaiti the same way you did, but I see Marja and Anne both as tall, thin, with dark hair and dark eyes.
The great thing about this site is that I see all of us really good looking people!!!
