I live in Wichita Kansas and were under a nice thick sheet of ICE!! I hate this state! It made for an exciting trip to school this morning.

Actually, I am in Montgomery County, so we have been plowed. Not that it could stop this New England girl even if it wasn't plowed!
Friday afternoon they sent the kids home early, so I took them to the mall! Great shopping with no one around~ my kind of shopping! Saturday morning I was back at the mall without the kids to finish up! I hate crowds, but there weren't any to contend with. The parking lot was more empty than on a regular day.
I dread the upcoming rain more than snow.
Well, back to school work! Edgar Allan Poe is dreadful... but required!

LMAO! I love reading these posts of you guys complaining cause you only got 4 inches of snow! If we were expecting 4 inches of snow, there wouldn't be groceries left in a 100 mile radius, there would be news flashes about the fact that the counties were out spreading sand on bridges and overpasses, nothing else would be on TV but news, schools would probably be cancelled(and if they weren't the kids wouldn't go anyway), people who live on hills would be getting their video cams out to tape the idiots trying to come down the hills, it would be CHAOS! We are lucky to get a dusting a few times a winter, 4 inches is a treat!

No fog yet here in Central CA, just some rain, and it's been really cold...it's been in the upper 30s at night, and I've actually had to wear a jacket!

LitlBaa, You don't have to wear a jacket usually!!! I though it got into the low 40's or upper 30's there. Right now it is -2 here w/o the wind chill...I am stranded at home b/c my piece of junk car will not start again. Snow good...Below zero temps bed...
