HELP!!!
Im confused! I spend 15 minutes in the zone tonight, all my nightly duties (dinner, dishes, shine sink, baths, homework), plus the 27 fling boogie???
How in the world do you do it all!! Feeling a bit of pressure here!! Can someone give me an example of your evening (evening only as I work out of the house during day) routine?? Something I can try to modify for me??

Well, I spent the holiday with my SIL west of Boston. 1 p.m. we served 20 from her family, then at 5 p.m. we went to her SIL on the North Shore. I talk DH into leaving that party early to go back to SIL's. When she got home, all she had left to do was pour herself a glass of wine. DH and his sister almost needed CPR when they realized I washed the dishes... by hand!
It was actually fun to clean some one else's house! It helps that DH's whole family are under 4'8" tall, so when it came time to dust, I was the only one who could reach the cob webs. Saved her several hours of climbing on step stools. But the evil me enjoyed putting the china on the top shelf out of reach ;D
I asked Santa for a car vacuum so that I can do my Friday Hot Spot prevention in the car! I have it on good authority that my wish will be granted.

Have you looked at the PAYROLL SHE page?
Don't try to over do it... I just started homeschooling, so my FLYing is done while I teach. But, I have to be careful not to get sidetracked and forget the school work. I have a stop watch, and I try to keep my total Zone time to 15 minutes a day. I may do it a minute or two at a time. I don't know how old your fly kids are, but maybe you can give them a 5 minute time period to work on their homework alone before they ask for you to help out or supervise.
Remember that you didn't build the CHAOS alone, so maybe you can start flying with a flight crew?!?

I am still trying to get a nighttime routine under control. My kids are really good a throwing a wrench into the plans on a nightly basis! I just try to keep it simple. Pick up kitchen, lay out clothes, and make sure the kidlets are clean. Anything else is bonus! I have managed to earn myself a new nickname--sink nazi. My DH thinks it is cute, but I sometimes wonder if he thinks. He actually wanted to go away for the weekend and leave a dirty meat grinder, not even rinsed, in my sink! I do not think so. So now he calls me the general or the sink nazi. Just take it slow Catseye. If you haven't managed to do everything in one day don't worry about it. Once you get more used to adding things slowly it will be easier. I guess FLY lady was right when she said it would take a few months to get through this.

Got mu fly lady office in a bag and control journal.. looked over it while cooking lunch.. It looks like something I can manage to work around homeschooling etc... have to ignore all that laundry stuff. ...hehe except mabye putting some away.. hubby says I am allowed to do that.. But the rest looks like a good plan. I had myself in a routine till my 15 month long experiment with sleep deprivation sleeping upstairs in his crib now.. Then we started homeschooling and it went down hill furtther.. it'll be nice to get a routine going again!! wish me luck!

Okay, I just want to know how to stay motivated. I am trying to take baby steps with all this and this is my 2nd time as a flybaby.
I even bought new vitamins to help me get going! Lori
