Three weeks ago when we made the dr appoint they wrote me a script for homework meds...until the dr appoint took place...the state wouldn't pay it ..The case worker said the doctor would have to talk to them. Then when we had the appointment..he called them and they said that they didnt like to okay adhd meds anymore.but they would see and for us to give it four days or so...I am hoping they will. The doc was also puzzeled by this.

???so while your child is having problems, and being punished or labeled, they are going to sit on their hands instead of try to help

When Brigham was on meds, we actually called the insurance company every day for a month to get them to pay for them. I may have helped that I was a nurse, but I really think they finally paid for his pills just to shut me up. Hang in there and don't give up until you get the help your child needs.
