He really didn't lose the book

Oh I am so frustrated, I don't know who to be more miffed at the one blaming or Mikey.

We all know how our kids are abotu losing thing. Last year Mikey "lost" a library book. :oWe looked everywhere since March to find it.

The librarian said to not worry about payment incase someone turned it in before the end ofthe school year.

Well, we purged the rooms and NO BOOK

I happened to mention it to the librairian in passing to see if she had gotten it.

OHHHHHHHHHH it happened to come in one of HER pile sover the summer

Sorry, I'm not working during the summer, and I had a check out for $10 :omight notseem like alot, but when I ain't got no income $10 is a lot.

So I FINALLY got reimbursed for it today.....about time for a book tha twasn't even at my house

When the child is wrong they are fast to make it public and blame...when they are wrong it is a well kept secret.
Why? Ten bucks is ten bucks but the point is not the money. (right?)

Did she tell this to you willingly or did you have to ask for the book? Sound´s like she found it during summer but didnt inform you of your 10$

i agree with Christy and M/C, it´s not the money but the principal, they do accuse really easy but when it´s their fault....

Marja, you nailed it on the head. She found it in her pile of books in her office....she thinks.......or it might have been on a cart......she forgets.

OK, if our kids pulled any of that, they'd be paying, hense the check.

I just happened to ask her...just being a smart alec, and she says, oh yeah......total surprise, now that you mention it I did find it
