MY boys and BObo have also gotten bit by the fishing bug this year... Bud even left his computer to go fishing...today he has been gone all day and not due in till late as he and a friend are fishing...Jared is a tree hugger and wont kill the worms but he also loves it..I think they can let their minds go whereever it wants while they sit there and fish and they dont have to worry about anything ...I used to fish but gave it up for childrearing...It does relax the speedy brain. Tell Sam that is a great catch..he should be proud. It is healthy and fun and absolutely better than running the streets... ;D

Hey M/C ... you can always take it up again ... NOW !! ... I so much agree though that fishing is a 'positive' pastime ... which is probably why I tend to encourage it !! His birthday presents (for 2 weeks time) are just ... MORE "fishing gear!" ... he says he doesn't want anything else ... (which is just as well because that stuff doesn't come cheap! LOL!) ... Hey but it definitely sounds like Bud has been bitten by the "bug" as well !! ... Hey!! On Monday evening THIS week he caught a 23.5lb carp which makes THESE look like little tiddlers !! ;D ;D ;D (Still got a long way to go until he can compete with THAT catfish though!! LOL!)

( I cant picture having to pull it in..) ;D
