Don't mind me I just want to vent a little 
At Levi's PT conference last month his spec ed teacher set up our annual IEP. I wrote in my calendar todays date at 8:00 am and wrote it on my big calendar as soon as I got home so I wouldn't forget. I even double checked with the teacher before we left the PT because of the time I have to get the boys ready earlier then usual. Well I show up this morning at 7:55 and she first looks at me funny and I said I am here for my meeting and she said that is tomorrow-----I said are you sure because I double checked with you and this is the day I have. She looks in her typed up schedule (not the one she used to make the appointment) and said no you are tomorrow. I am a little mad now because of all the rushing I had to do and now I have to do it again tomorrow
. I also had to get a dig in that if she would have sent home a confirmation letter this could have been avoided and she said that she gave one to Levi and I said no you didn't because I go thru his bag and there was not one there. Then she says oh I am getting so forgetful....oh . As I was leaving I said I would see them tomorrow at 8:00am-----I go and see Levi in the hall and asked him if Ms.L gave him any letter and he said no and he even asked her if she was going to give him one and she said no .
I know that mistakes do happen but I don't do this with the boys IEP and if I would have been the one to mess up the date they would have went ahead and set up his plan without me . All I have to say is they better be sweet as pie to me tomorrow because I am going in with my 
. I don't tolerate it well when my boys education is on the line. I have everyone of the boys IEP in a special briefcase and I take it with me to every meeting as to refer back what was done or what can be done. This is something I don't mess around with. Ok I feel a little better thanks for letting me vent.
