I have a book somewhere in my messy house, I believe it is title "Learning outside the box". It is written by two graduates from Landmark. The school really does fantastic things from what I have read. BUT, and this is a HUGE BUT...
Tuition, Room, and Board for 1 yr. (30 weeks) is $43,238
In comparison, another college we have looked into is Boston University at the cost of approx. $30,000 per year.
I also have looked into Wyoming Tech. which is under $25,000 per year, but room was not included in the source I had.
However, Landmark is situated in one the most physically gorgeousareas of the country! Autumn in Southern Vermont is indescribable, Winter is invigorating but not usually TOO extreme. Spring is usually fickle, a little sun, a little snow, a lot of mud!
If money wasn't an issue, I would certainly consider it! But then again, I grew up in that area of the country! It is within 100 miles of "home" for me.

(jaw dropping to the floor!)
Tuition runs that much these days? Oh my! It's been almost 10 years since I was in college, and while I didn't live on campus, the cost was no where near that. Man oh man, I wonder it will cost in about 10 years!

Traci - those tuition numbers are all private or out-of-state, I believe. There are 2 books on colleges for kids with ADD/LD that tell what sort of accomodations and such they have. I'll ask Mom to email me the names. One was Peterson's something-or-other and I don't remember the other one. trid - "Learning Outside the Lines", by Mooney and Cole. One of them went to Landmark, both of them went to Brown University. My standard recommendation for study skills books.
