I did it again!


yesterday DS's gym teacher came to me after school she sees me from a distence she comes running to me to pick on anything and everything it is so obvious that she comes to me and my freinds all the time, dont parkc here dont stand there ect ect....

she realy hates me big time.... ;D..... her exact words where tell your son ..... if looks could kill boy ;D I told her I would tell my son what I whant my friend realy told her off.....

then I come home and there is a huge not that my DS didnt have his gym clothes today! big deal! rarely do we forget but today oups....

she is realy looking for my to explode, it will get ugly


what is it with gym teachers they think they are it!

Last week Jared got his clothes thrown up on top of the lockers..he is little and cant reach up ther, he got his head slammed into a block wall, and Monday one boy kicked him between the legs..he still hurt today after missing yesterday with flu symptoms. I have a pe teacher that I am willing to offer up as a sacrifice to the I hate school club. He either ignores or does not watch the kids period.

We have a art teacher that hasnt changed her lesson plans in ten years period...anyone with an artisic bone knows she is all dried up and needs replaced especially when you go to other schools and see what they are doing is way ahead of our school.

We have a music teacher once a week who has the same two shows every year..they are okay but I fail to see what the purpose is when my kids are getting more musical background in their own home. Singing is okay and fun but why grade on it if they arent learning the background of the subject.

If they want to have these subject for extra curicular fun that is one thing but why grade on them?

Bud came home and told me that his counselor told him some four year colleges require not only two years language BUt also two years of an art or something like that . He is okay at art but I cant see him wasting two years on it..it's just not his thing. He is more the thought process type.. like he was thrilled that they offer four years of latin of all things. yuck...ever tried to practice latin with a teen ager at 5 a.m. ?

Dont get me wrong. I am not anti art or music as I happen to be artistic by choice and my dh is musical by choice but i fail to see why they are grading on somethings that are either natural ability or not natural ability. Do they really need to take the fun out of the few remaining fun things about school ? Even kids without artisitic talent have a ball with art class but to get graded down just doesnt seem fair. Same with pe.

::)I spent my life getting C's in gym. In dd's school you get a 1-4 (4 being the best) She gets a 3 in Gym and a 3 in Music. She can't stand the Art teacher. Says you have to do it "HER WAY" but she gets 4's. I could give a flying flip about those grades except for the fact that she is very artistic and should be encouraged to be creative. we got the 4th 6 week report card friday and we got STRAIGHT B"s. we all did the happy dance at our house. Bought Dd a new "Bratz" doll as a reward.
