I seen on the news tonight that a school in Peoria is challenging the no child left behind law in court..the part concering the special needs and 504's . I couldn't get the whole story but they always replay the same stuff on the five am news. So tomorrow. I know there are a alot of flaws with the no child left behind BUT if they exclude the special ed and 504's wont that mean it is okay to leave them behind acording to the schools? If they cant pass and lose funding then they need to change what methods they are using not just exclude the special kids . I dont know. The y do so little anymore it seems like if they did less they wouldn't even be showing up.
I asked Jared how gym went today. He got shoved (accidently) into a block wall in the locker room and had a good sized goose egg on the side of his head. It was right before school let out so he didn't report it. Fun is fun and boys will be boys BUT he is getting hurt now...should I say something or let it keep going?

He might have said he got shoved accidentally cause he doesn't want to make waves. If he is getting hurt on purpose I would be watching very closely. You might have to take appropriate action.

Oh I will be. Jared was kinda tired and sleepy during homework time said he didn't feel good..I had to keep him from mumbling when he was reading his vocab to me...he perked up a bit when Bobo came home so I think he is okay but I am watching. The goose egg is on side of his head..I am surprised his glasses survived.
I think I will pop in and pay the principal yet ANOTHER visit in the morning.

Ther is not much more you could do, short of handing it to her personally. I hope it gets better, Have a peaceful day, Christina
