I was waiting for Linda to chim in.

We won't get Linda started though, relax Linda, this isn't the badmouth the lunch ladies section,
WE LOVE OUR LUNCH LADIES :DEspecially OUR LINDA

The biggest thing that cracks me up is they talk about the sceduling. Um, so reschedule somewhere else. I DO NOT in the least blame the lunch ladies, they are the sweetest most walked over people, with exception of maybe the Janitors.

You know what, we need to have a Lunch Lady Day!!!

Linda, give us the word and on this day, we will officailly thank all of the lunch ladies at our schools. Oh, it does have to be when the kids are in session, so they can give them the honor.

Set the date for next Monday...but I am warning you a lot of people do NOT like the lunch people....especially at recess time because they really are not monitored all that well....Just my opinion!!

The lunch ladies should be doing lunch NOT recess too, so for those of us that LOVE our LUNCH LADIES. OR even those that think they need a pick me up, do something special for the lunch ladies

I know what you mean about not liking the lunch ladies, I was a kid once you know, BUT mom had the advantage of knowing the lunch ladies personally :-Xso I still got in trouble.

Alexander is not allowed to bring an "unhealthy" snack either. It must be fruit or vegetable. Popcorn, pretzels - all stepping stones to Doritos and aren't allowed. Apparently the teacher has had issues with children fighting over snacks in previous years . . .

at DS's school kinders eat in class.... gade 1 to 3 eat first from 12:30 to 1 and 4 to 6 eat at 1:00.

kids eat with there own class (bummer) and as for healthy foods our school is a nut free school they ask that food be healthy but they dont realy inforse that rule....

the lunch lady's (here anyway) need to lighten-up its not school time they need to vent a bit talk the kids have been sitting all morning.... a few times one lady gave ds homework because of to much talking in line..... (he didnt do it!)

We always got detentions, now they have a detention table that they separate the kids to. Um, my son likes sitting there because then the other kids aren't picking on him :'(So he asks to sit there
