Hi,
I hope everyone is doing ok. I know I havent been out here posting much but I read alot of posts. I have been so busy at work I cant do much. I had a very relaxing summer. the school year has been ok so far. I am starting to see some problems. So far nothing like last year. His teacher seems very nice right now. I hope she continues to be understanding it is so hard for our children. She is even giving him extra help with keeping up with supplies. I send her extra and she makes sure he has enough pencils and paper. He has already got a demerit for talking to loud and not listening. HIs grades are still above average so I dont think they want to give me a 504 plan. I asked his doctor about his hyperactivity and she gave me a pescription for focalan. He hasnt been on meds all summer. Why are meds always the answer? I guess I am just venting today. I hope today goes better for him. One good thing he only has 20 kids in his class and there is a social worker at the school. I keeping my fingers crossed I dont think I can take a bad year again I need a break.
Oh but my boy playing tackel football has helped alot it has gotten him to calm down a little at home.

(((((((hugs))))))))))Babytay, glad things are ok for ya. Wondered if you survived Summer Vacation Alright, I'll pull my card quickly, meds aren't always the answer, but they do help with things for some people- ok put my non med card away now :PJust wondering, are you cutting out artificials and preservatives? That makes all the difference in the world for us and saves me from killing my son I think that the physical activity of the tackle football will help with his restlessness, gives him a place to exert energy AND GIVES YOU A CARROT OVER HIS HEAD ;)Make him behave in order to play. You know Coach doesn't want some off the wall kid to be not a team player. hint hint in case you didn't think of that, which you probably have, so throw it out the window if you did. Good to see you back, we'll say HI every so often so you don't think we forgot about ya, just in case you can't reply

Hi Babytay Nice to see you´re back and well As for med´s being the first answer: it´s the easiest way(for other´s than kid and family that is), that way you doc doesnt have to think so much I agree it´s hard to take an other med, make´s you searching all the other opportunities... wich infact, is not a bad thing I´am glad to hear playing in a team has helped, huge improvement what a running around, playing together and by the rule´s make to some kid´s. I hope you´ll have a better year, as for all of us Let us know how it goes.
