Christi - that was my main probleml too. I would always ace the tests but never turn in the homework. I would get "distracted" and the homework process would seem to turn into an all night ordeal and then I would either get it done and forget to turn it in - or get almost all of it done, not finish it and not turn it in. God bless extra credit - I brought my grade up a lot through that as well! (Probably because they were more project based and more interesting for me).
It sounds like Cami has worked hard to get her grade up, though! Sounds like it was a good meeting! And good news on the notes!! You had said that they don't really "enforce" the planner thing at Cami's school - is there anyway to make a deal at home with her that you have to check off her homework when it's done? Or is she too old? Or does she not even write it down? I had such a hard time getting my homework done - not because it was hard - but because I could not stay concentrated at all. I kind of wish now that my parents had forced me to do it downstairs in the kitchen instead of letting me do it in my room. (I never did it - even though I gave a great argument that I worked better in my room where I was comfortable, etc.)
Keep us posted on how the homework thing is going! But it sounds like you have a bright girl there!!
