So my 6yo tried to burn down the house.

She found a candle lantern. We are still trying to figure out how she got it, as it's hung from the ceiling. Anyway, it's been up there for years, and no one knew there were matches in it. I am so glad my 11 yo went back upstairs to get something. She walked in as Pooh was trying to light the match.

Oh my goodness Pooh!!! I am sorry for the scare but so glad all are safe!!! Kids are amazing arent they? Just when you think they can't surprise ya. ;D

Last year my then 6 yr old son started lighting any matches he found. I thought I had them well hidden. He then lead me to all the matches in the house. Some of them I had hidden so well I forgot them. Needless to say we threw them all away. The scary part of the whole thing is that he was teaching his younger brother how to light them too. Every day is an adventure and I have the grey hair to prove it! Sue

I´am so happy it did turn out o´kay When my son was 4 or 5, we were at my godmother´s, he was playing by hinsef while we were talking... As we were leaving the house, I smelled smoke , my godmother thought it was the chimney, because she had just had fire in fireplace, so we left! while we were walking back to my parent´s, it hit me!!!!WHAT IF MY SON GOT THE MATCHES?
I run back, sniffed around the house, and find it! There was a little towel that was burning very slowly. TG I got back, and we found that , it might have not burned down, but then again IT MIGHT....

Our children really make those gardian angel´s work fulltime, dont they
