I just want to say thank you for having this site. I am new here, but have found this to be so Helpful!!!! I have been having such a hard time lately with my daughter (who has not been diagnosed yet). I have found so much comfort in just knowing there are other people out there who are going through the same things as me not to mention all the info I have found here. Thank you all!

Hi Aimee and a big WELCOME!! ... I so much agree - this site is just amazing and soooo much help to all of us dealing with adhd on a daily basis .... Veronika is the one who made it happen - God Bless her ;D

I think so often those of us who have adhd as part of our lives feel we are "the only ones" .... but isn't it great to come to a place like this and have a good chat with people who really DO understand & who are ALSO dealing with it on a daily basis AND have lots of good advice as well!!?

I look forward to seeing you around the board!!

I'm really happy this site is available too. I found the other one just as it was closing down, and then found Veronikas message about this new site.
Its helped to lift a big weight off my shoulders knowing other people have the same situations I have. Unless you have a ADD or ADHD kid you just cannot imagine it.
Everyone thinks they could just parent differently and solve all the problems. Even J's teacher saw no reason for him to be on ritalin. Then when he had to go off it for a couple of weeks, she couldnt believe he was the same kid.

I am so glad you have found this site helpful. I know that even in the short time I have been here... I have learned so much! I feel that I am a much better advocate for my son and his future now!! Thank you to everyone for all the input and info you all so freely offer!
