Well, the only if Cami was mine, the only thing she'd be in trouble for was for not be explicit enough from the get go. Other than that,
Can't say as I blame her for what she did. Enough is enough and if adults can't take a situation, they have the option to leave, but Cami can't exactly get up and walk out of class, she'd get in trouble for that too.
Good call as I see it. If they were paying attention, it wouldn't have escelated Kaiti

Oh I agree with you Christy...she wouldn't be in any trouble with me either!
What penalty did the other girl get? We have zero tolerance here too and I hate it.
I have seen things first hand and I am sure you have too...staff sticks together no matter what!Keep your eyes peeled girl....It ain't over yet!!!

I might regret saying this on day like the saying goes "be careful what you with for" but enough is enough and sometimes I wish my DS would do as you DS did!
Maybe now they will leave her alone! I think if DS would come home with this situation My DH and I would cheer (not in front of DS) but in the end I cant take it anymore! I wish hw would stand up for himself and not let they step all over them, in our school they dont tolorate fight but yet they dont do anything about the teasing so what is a kid to do? what are we teaching them?

mom2tj, that is exactly what I said to the AP yesterday. I told her she has reported this bullying and nothing had changed, the girl had her trapped, and asked what else was she to have done, sat there and taken a beating? I think not.
Linda, what you said about it not being over yet is what I am scared of. I already told Cami to be prepared when she returns Friday to face the friends of this girl as they will blame her for getting their friend suspended.
Something else that bothers me is that Cami said the AP kept asking her why didn't you tell me you were having problems again (she thought it had all resolved after the last matter I guess) and even said to me she often sees Cami in the hall and stops her to ask how things are and Cami has never said anything. I told her because it was just little nitpick things each day that maybe she didn't find important enough to tattle to the AP about, this is middle school not elementary and she doesn't want to be known as a petty tattle-taler. But in retrospect if that's what they want, then that's what they'll get. I told Cami from now on if one of these girls even looks at her funny, then she needs to run tell the AP.

Something else that bothers me is that Cami said the AP kept asking her why didn't you tell me you were having problems again And then be teased for being a tattle tale (like my DS is being teased about) and to top it fo the teachers tell him that he is being a pain about the tatteling you just cant win!

Camismom I wouldn´t diciplin her eather, she has been suspended, end of the confersation I´ve little mixed opinion´s of telling theacher everytime. I think it should be theacher´s duty to watch over this, kid´s can so easily get the stamp of tattle-taler tell her to take care of herself when she goes back. (((((hug´s))))))) Marja

Take lots of notes. Write down each incident, what date and what class. Write down each time you or cammi talk to a teacher, principal etc. Write down everything that is said. write down what the other kids see if you ever talk to them. Then send copies to the principal, the superintendent, whoever you can think of. if you have documented proof that this is ongoing, you may get more of a responce. Also, taperecord each conversation you have with anyone from the school. That way you always have backup info.
