:)has always been a struggle for Paul...but listen to this//His reading teacher called me and said that his reading has gone up to the 9th grade level(he is in 10th now) and if he continues to work as hard as he is now he will have it up to grade level. This is the same kid that I thought was never going to read...what a relief!!

Good For Paul. I was talking to an aunt a while ago, and the only thing that her son would read was anything about dirt bikes and stuff, so between her and his teacher, they made that part of his reward, and he's getting back up to par reading wise too!!
Congrats Kaiti

The funny thing is...when he was in kdgn,I just knew he was reading, come to find out like a lot of our ADHD kids he was memorizing everything.
He gets to 1st grade and his teacher said..this boy can't read a word!! Big wake up call!!!

Linda , that´s great!!!!! I love reading, I´d love to see my kid´s to grow to be reader´s. So far it look´s good. they all love if I read to them. My son kind a like "got the clue" of reading last spring, in the end of 1st grade, now he has improved wonderfully! It´s great to see some improvment. Way to go Paul!!!!!!!!!!!! AND way to go Linda!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Marja

Wow, I bet you're proud! My dad learned to read in high school (he diagnosed himself as dyslexic, but I think he was also ADHD or even bipolar). It's really terrific when you see you child working hard toward a goal, isn't it? Christie
