Ds school had an Valentine´s day-fun event tonight. i wasnt even aware of that before ds friend asked if ds could go with him  I hesetated a little, b/c this friend is not my favorit, they were going with 4 other kid´s, without parent´s But ds wanted to go , wich amased me, he hasnt wanted befor, so I let them go. Then I sneaked there after an hour, saw my ds having fun, there was some motorsledge-ride, cookies and other goodie´s. He was thrilled ;D I was glad ;D Mayby, just mayby, I´ll let him go again  Marja |

I hope he isnt up all night from the goodies!! LOL Glad he seemed to be haveing fun! Isnt it nice when they can just be kids....

That's great Marja! Glad to hear he had a good time! Cami has a dance tomorrow night at which she'll be meeting her "boyfriend" at (that is if she doesn't blow her chance at "earning" it  ). She's been an angel this week knowing it was coming! Sometomes it's hard to see them growing up... By the way, have a Happy Valentine's Day yourself!!  |

I remember reading something "somewhere" which said 'Do you ever say to your child when he is going somewhere simply "Have FUN" .... and I thought about this and decided I didn't say it nearly often enough !! .. Whenever my son has been going anywhere I seem to spend most of my time saying 'Do this, don't do that ... don't forget to ring me ... don't forget this, that etc., be careful of this, that and the other ... " but it made me think that sometimes it is important just to say "HAVE FUN" ...
... and it sounds like that is EXACTLY what your little guy had !! ;D
