We Have School Bully issues as well... Eric is 8 now and in 3rd grade. This started in 1st grade when he was undiagnosed and no one would listen to me when I said there was something wrong...Anyway, He had two bullies in his class... They were insitent on a daily regimen of hatefulness. My son started staying home sick because the teacher was too passive and wuiet to deal with them.. Plus they said Eric was different so that encouraged the kids to be mean. Then in 2nd grade Eric was put in a class with a teacher who requested him and the bullies be put in her class. Her brother is ADHD, and agreed that Eric was. She is a very special person to Eric and our family for all she has done, She took care of that bully situation quick.. Here's the thing now they ar ein the same class again(3rd grade) , did I forget to mention one of the kids is the stepson of Eric' s resource reading teacher? Great HUh... Now they are back to there old tricks again and Eric is heartbroken because by the end of last year they were all friends.. Why is it always our kids fault the other kids are bullying them?? Thanks for listening, christina

Linda; Sorry I haven't responded sooner. Busy week with the school. I really just have had it and told them I expected the children who bully, no matter who stepmom is, they better start being tougher on them. I know they are just children but the school have no problem taking my sons recess away. So this week I told just that.... they were actually shocked because I am usually so quiet and agreeable. I let them know that I loved my son more than I need them to like me in the way I handled the situation. LOLOL... I got a call this morning that when Eric is back in school tomorrow there will be apologies made and no recess for the two boys who are bullying him. It is a start... Thanks for listening, Have a peaceful day, Christina:)
