It's good to see you back! How did the storm go for you? I've been thinking about you. (Sorry if you mentioned this somewhere else and I missed it.)

HI!! We had minimal wind damage, no water whatsoever! It's taken almost a week to get the filth out of the pool and that's with me working on it for several hours a day and never turning off the vacuum. For now though, I'm leaving all my photos boxed up, so if another should threaten, that part is ready to throw into the SUV. Thanks for checking on me!

We evacuated to north TX to some long time friends. We left on that Wed. and returned on Mon. Luckily we were about two hours ahead of the awful traffic jam that occurred on I-45 north. It was very scary. I had about 24 hours to pack what I couldn't live without and to put the rest upstairs hoping that if we had flood waters it wouldn't reach that level. As it turned out, it went much further north/east. All we had was minor wind damage and very little rain. We have some roof damage that needs to be looked at and the pool is still filthy. I've cleaned it ten days straight and it still looks awful. Time will work it out.
I AM so relieved with the appt. behind us. It was so funny to watch some of the faces of the doctors as my son, being UNmedicated, was almost UNmanageable. He stood on the examining table, crawled on the floor, made faces (he's almost ten) at the doctors, etc. They could see he MUST have medication, not that they didn't think so anyway. Now the ball is in their court and they need to get together and tell us what they have found and what we need to for our son. He's such a handful, but I keep thinking what would be happening to him if he lived with his bio mother. Nothing.....!

Put up with what you have to now, because one day you will reap the benifit of it TEN fold!!

S/A, I'm so glad to hear that everything is pretty much ok. I do hope the docs can find something to help your DS. At least they can see that there really is a problem!
