:-XMy little girl is growing up :'(They are having a back to school dance tonight sponsered by the PTA and Tara, who almost didn't make it btw, will be attending.
Oh I can't wait to hear her when she gets home. We laughed yesterday at SACC, 2 of the other girls went to school here too, so we were reminising.
Girls on one side of the gym, boys on the other side of the gym......7th and 8th graders huddles in the corner being checked on every 2 minutes ;D ;D ;D
Wish her luck, she's just starting to think boys aren't as yucky as she used ot think ???Is that a good thing or bad thing ;D ;D

Better get yourself a box of tissue and have it handy tonight! Hope she has fun though! If her dance is anything like most school dances, she'll do little dancing and more "socializing". |

Oh I wouldn't count on that Christy.....the part about the tissue or the dancing. Little Miss Independant thank heaven's Mikey needs a break from her And the dancing......at Grandpop's wake, they had the juke box going with the Macarena.....my MIL right there with em  Then again, when I turn around while shopping and her and Mikey are making up some sort of dance to the music over hte loud speakers. She'll be dancing |

Dd's Jr High has winter dances. Next year when she is in 7th grade, I imagine we'll be going through the same thing. She has started looking at prom dresses in the store. Three years ago she said she "was never going to a prom because the dresses were scratchy and boys were wierd." Today she had to look just right for picture day. My baby is growing up.

She finally ate dinner :-[I didn't get done til 6 and her ride was supposed to be here at 6:15, so I told her to eat some cheese before because I didnt' want to ruin her outfit She was so sweet, she said a few of her friends had slow dances, but she didn't........ She just asked me what time to wake her up for the mum sale in the morning  :oCRAP, didn't know she wanted to go...... Then again, more hot guys to look at that feel guilty that might have forgot some kind of special.......oh she is in for sooooooo much trouble, I see it now ;D ;D |

She already wants to go to the skating party. I told her we didn't have the money. She comes home the next day and says IT IS FREE. Darn if she wasn't telling the truth. The Municipal Alliance is sponsering, so it is really free. HELP THINK OF A NO REASON TO GO >:(Oh Got it, we have to get up earlier then everyone else and open up SACC |
