I just have the message that came with the machine. I know, how boring.
My sis when she got married the 1st time had the funniest message. Said something like
If you are getting this message, we are either out or having sex. Please leave a message.

our's is pretty ordinary. brittany's cell phone says that she's out deliberately avoiding your call and to leave it. chris usually has something funny on his. it started with a hello, pause, what's up with you?, pause, not much, pause then he'd tell you he wasn't really there and to leave a message. he got more people trying to talk to him!! you really shouldn't leave anything specific enough to trace who you are or where you live on your machine. last name especially means they can trace you on line or by a phone book. karen

Karen, great advice, that's why I don't have the kdis on the machine. ???Sure, plaster their names around here though We were thinking about getting an e-mail account set up for Tara, but I don't even like her leaving messages on other machines let alone e-mailing.

Mine says: You have reached the Sprint PCS voice mail box of (806)xxx-xxxx. ...
I've never bothered to change it.
Eventually, I will put something like this on my machine: "Hi, I'm busy making a few changes in my life. If I don't call back, you're one of them."

Actually, it's tech support for connecting a gaming console to the internet. Probably not too terribly useful to y'all.
