Busy but wonderful weekend!

I left work two hours early Thursday to head to Atlanta with dad. We were meeting my sister and bil from NC to get my two beautiful nieces/goddaughters for the weekend. Sis and BIL were having a adult's weekend and we got to babysit! I had sooo much fun spending time with them two! My dad has become so clueless about taking care of little ones and my stepmom had work and school so she couldn't be there much (she hardly was there at all!) so I got the brunt of taking care of them! I spent Friday and Saturday playing mommy. My oldest niece took to Cami like crazy and was totally Cami's girl both days, the youngest (my b-day girl!) took to me and didn't want anyone else but her Aunt "Cissy". I was eating it up! Those two are such amazing kids, so well-mannered, well-behaved, and just PRECIOUS!! Oh, I hated like crazy seeing them go home this morning! I had a wonderful weekend, but I am tired. ;D ;D ;D ;D It is such fun being an aunt! So glad though I don't have to do it everyday anymore! I really appreciate having a teen now!

Sounds like you had a fun weekend. I also love my neice but it is nice to send her home at the end of the day. I know why I had my kids when I was young ;D ;D they sure can tucker you out.

Oh Christy it sounds like you really had a great time though ! .. and the GOOD thing was that you were able to say GOODBYE whilst still on a positive !! ;D and it also sounds like Cami was in her element !!

I agree Anne and Christy, when she has got her dd 13y old, it´s deffenately no time for a new baby.....just try to get trough teenage Christy
