Linda, I'm glad Paul is ok and hope you have lost some of the "shakes". I think he was acting in the moment, knee-jerk reaction if you will. I must say I'm guilty of it too sometimes and afterwards think the same thing you did. It's ridiculous we have to remember that and be careful in that way...but again I'm just glad he is ok. I'm sure it'll keep him on his toes and more alert while driving in the future...not that he wasn't this time. I remember my mom always saying to me "be careful" whenever I left the house (heck she still does it now! LOL) and one day I kind of aggravatingly said, I will! Why do you think otherwise and worry so?! She replied, "it's not YOUR driving that worries me...it's the people out there driving drunk, preoccupied, etc. that scares me. Just always stay on alert mode and watch out for them!"

I can relate to that~~~When the kids would go for bike rides I would tell them to watch out for other drivers because they are not watching out for you. I tell Levi this when he rides the moped to school and I tell Riley when he now drives.
Linda~~I am glad to hear the Paul is ok. I have to say I would have proably done the same thing he did and thought of the consequences later. I hope once you calmed down you were able to have a nice chat with him.
