NEXT year for goodness sake! " I know Fall hasn't officially started yet, but good grief! Enough is enough! We have a high of 96 forcasted for today and tomorrow and the long term forcast doesn't have us dropping out of the nineties for the remainder of the 10 day forcast. It is Septmember for goodness sake, not July. I am so tired of the heat and humidity and so ready for some cooler weather! Please someone, tell summer it's time to pack it up and head on out! ;D ;D ;D

... and I have to say (as someone who only ever sees that temperature when abroad in the summer!) that 96 in September is WAY TOO HIGH !! And I agree

Well, you girls just get out there and enjoy it for me, ok? Take some pics of your pretty leaves and fall colors and post them for me to admire. My time will come...and in the grand scheme of things I really should be ashamed of myself. Compared to the gulf coast residents, if 96 degree September days are all I have to worry with..then I guess I can deal. LOL

ok, I know I said I was going to shut-up, , BUT, dang! I just came back from lunch and was melting outside! It is currently 92 with heat index of 96. It is only 1:55 so I'm sure it'll get hotter before the day is out! C'mon now, it's September 20th, not JULY 20th.

On the way home while peddling my rear off ..some news guy on the radio had the nerve to tell me natural gas (for heat) would be going up atleast 40% this winter ...I think I will just enjoy the heat for awhile ... I hate the cold. I hope it gets cooler for you so you are comfy.

Good point M/C! for those that have to use gas for heating purposes, I'm sure it is a good thing summer is dragging it's feet!

I have a feeling we will be setting the thermostat pretty low this year. Lots of sweaters and blankets. Miles

It's kind of funny how "on the flip-side" of things we can be....now while I'm wishing you guys north of me could send me some cooler air...you will later be wishing I could send some warmer air in a few more months. Is there a happy medium? hehe

I heard that northern Oklahoma, southern Missouri is nice, but then you have to worry about other natural disasters like tornado's. Miles

Oklahoma has it's hot and cold spells. Tulsa had snow on the ground for 14 days a couple of years ago and the summer is 90+ degrees with 80% humidity. (Wilting weather) Its going to be 100 DEGREES here in the big D today!! YUK with a capital Y. It's going to be in the 80's by saturday. Everybody I know is waiting for Fall. I keep looking at my sweaters and wishing...
