There is a big beautiful Oak tree down the street that has turned a pretty shade of red. The next one down further is bright orange. They are so pretty to look at I just wish they would stay that way but before I know it the leaves will be falling.... The last holiday of the summer~~~~lots and lots of yard sales YES!! I will looking all day until I have to go to work.

I am so jealous, I can't get out to yard sale today since Mike went to work ???but he is getting time and a half, so i can't complain. I love watching the trees turn. Out to the club we had to refill the honor system, and Mike noticed the trees were starting to turn out there I was thinking the other day, when we were little and made leaf piles and jumped in them, we had a blast. Last year on the news, it was "recommended" to not allow your children to do that....they might get poked with a stick I think the guy that recommended that was over protected or something growing up;D

My kids used to enjoy it unti they learned about bugs .. ;D
fall is my favorite time to hike..it is beautiful and cooler out (no sweating) ..it is also one of the more enjoyable things about the bike (that I keep going on about because I feel like there is a bike seat up my rear ;D ) You get to notice the leaves and fall flowers up closer.
The birds are starting to flock and fuel...good thing they dont have to pay for fuel ;D ..pretty soon they are starting to haul pumpkins but it seems for it. sneaks up on us doesn't it..

Better yet no air condioning bills I dread the winter fuel bills though....we heat with gas

I hope "it " stays away as long as possible.....just thinking of the heat bills..bet alot of people are gonna suffer with depression this year. Just the thought of it depresses me.... I would take fall for the next 6 months and be quite happy....

Fall definitley was NOT coming today...it was a very HOT ride home...I almost turned on the air when I got here but couldn't get up off the couch for 15 minutes and by then the thought passed...I think I hate the light company more than the gas companies...but then this week the water company isn't at the top either.. ;D the water bill shows how much rain we havent had. Didn't help having to stop and do a yard before riding home. Man it got warm today. I hope fall gets back soon.
