I just posted this on Kaiti's thread, but I'll put it here too. Our average as of last check was 3.11 a gallon. The guy that gouged up to 5.009 was reported by the news station that exposed him. I hope he is punished to the full extent. Columbus' mayor as well as Georgia's governor has both been quoted as saying they will not put up with it and will do everything in their power to prosecute those caught doing it. YEAH! Miles, when you figure out how to ride 15 miles in 30 minutes, let me know so I can try to lessen it to 20 miles in 20 minutes. LOL I have a 20 mile ride to work...Cami's bus usually picks her up at around 6:55 and I'm supposed to be at work at 7:15. Kaiti, I have really had you on my mind with these rising prices. I truly hope they go down before it gets too cold there.

;D ;D ;D I think getting there on time has alot to do with changing of lifestyles and leaving in plenty of time...I can remember back when I had to work an early shift and I had to have a helper come in and get the kids off to school...and pick them up... I just had to reschedule my day to accept the 45 minute bike ride to town and then the one back home..but what is hardest to change is the fact that i cant stop here and there and everywhere...I have a backpack and only so much will fit ..everything else has to be done on Saterday..the one car trip I get. Bobo couldnt posssibly do the trip on a bike with his back ..he has 12 miles up and down hills...
I hope they get the prices back down before winter...or we are screwed...cause even lil ol me wont ride the durn bike in snow. ;D
If you cant possibly do the bike then carpooling is a good thing too.

I did notice today the cheapest gas we could get was at $2.98/gal :oI thought Jersey was supposed to be cheaper Oh well, I just have to remember that I will be back to work soon, it's been a pain between not working and higher prices Christy, we have NO oil for our heater, so we'll be hoping they take lint from our pockets this year Kaiti...do you have a fireplace in your house? If you do wood is a heck of a lot cheaper
