Paul got his senior pictures taken today. The reason they have to be done early is they go in the year book in October. Does not seem real to me YET THAT HE IS A SENIOR

Don't worry Linda because I am a sucker when it comes to pictures too~~~I know I am going to buy the whole package when my time comes. Did Paul get outdoor pictures taken? Those are my favorite! One of the seniors at work brought in here pics and she had a pose in black and white and I fell in love with it~~did you get any taken like that? Post them when you can!!

I hear trid and kaiti talking about Wal-Mart.....That is where we got our pictures. ;D ;D
We got several brochures in the mail from different studios and it was unbelievable in what it cost!!!!Anywhere from 500 to 1000 dollars. My whole package was under 200 dollars with a lot of different poses!!

Yea walmart. I cant get Dan to sit for a picture anymore unless he is in pads and holding a football. I used to get theirs done each year, but about 3 years ago Dan refused to go, so my pictures now are from the sports. I cant afford the pictures the school takes for the yearbook. And I really want the sports ones, so that is all we get. With Dan in football and basketball, and Amber cheerleading, basketball and Dance, that is still alot of pictures.

we have to have ours done at the school with the photographer the school chooses. at least to get the picture in the yearbook. it's several poses but all inside. even i had mine done outside and that was 100 years ago!! then if you want anything different, you have to go to another photographer. so we just let it go with the school ones for brittany and i really hate that it's so boring. the good part of boring is not so many choices which means less money! karen

I have been lucky enough to see the photos that Linda refers to of Paul .. and I promise you they are just fantastic !! I am working with Linda in letting everyone here take a look at them !! ... It isn't proving tooooo easy because I am unfortunately unable to "grab" them individually as gif, jpg or jpeg images to post here ... but leave it with us - We are WORKING ON IT!! ...

I'll bet you got some great pictures. I'll bet you got lots of poses also. Wal Mart/Meijer/kmart is where we get our family Christmas pictures taken. I have taken the boys there since they were born~~~I have some pretty fantastic pictures that I LOVE from there. In fact kmart is now an olin mills studio. When Riley graduated from pre-school I borrowed a cap and gown from the school(I worked there at the time so it was easy to do) and took him to kmart to get his pictures taken and bought the entire package. I love every one of those pictures~~of course I still have plenty of them but I don't care because I will never have pictures like that again.

I see how it is! A girl goes away for a week, and everyone talks about her behind her keyboard! ;D We used to get a "special background" behind the kids pictures at school, but the whole school had the same one. Now they get a choice of about 5 different solid colors. In high school, the yearbook publisher had a list of "approved" local studios and a set of standards that you had to meet if you decided to let Great Uncle Remus take your photo. Doesn't matter to me now... my year book was stolen in 1988
