My mom has had a sore point in her leg, just below knee, yesterday she told about it to me and I told her to go to the doctor because it worried me... Today my mom called me, she had had an appointment and the doctor thought, as I did too, that it might be a bloodclot(sp?) or thrombosis , so she´ll have an ultrasound tomorrow to find out exactly what it is Mom sounded to be in a good mood, told me about the doctor, how he wasn´t worried but wanted to be sure and all.... but I know she´ll worry, I hope she can sleep a bit this night, I know she cant sleep when she worries.. I know that if it is a thrombosis, it´s easy to fix, but.... I hate it when there is something wrong with my parent´s So, if you have spare time, mayby you could give her(and me) a thought or two...

Marja, you need not even ask me! You have helped me through so many, many times with my mom's health matters so it is time for me to return the favor! I will indeed say a prayer for you and your mom and I will keep you in my thoughts! I know all too well what you are going through right now. You'll have to tell me though what thrombosis is..I'm not familiar with that...but I am glad to hear it's treatable. At any rate I know like you said treatable or not we hate to see our parents have to go through it.
Take care my friend! I'm here if you need me!

Thank you all you´re so sweet... mom is just on the way to get that ultrasceck done, so i dont know anything yet, but she promised to call me immediately when she get´s out...finger´s grossed for this to be something really minor... You'll have to tell me though what thrombosis is..I'm not familiar with that... Christy, it´s basicly a clot of blood that´s blocking the vein so blood is not able to run that way anymore( a bit hard to explain this in english..) It´s usually pretty harmles, although very painfull, but... some deep blootclut´s can start moving and go straight to heart and cause an heart attact, so those need to be taken care of.

Oh I am so glad to hear everything is OK,
Um, trying to think of the term in English. Is it like compartment syndrome? Where there is a briuse and the blood won't flow threw, so they have to operate and cut out part f the muscle?

She was so reliefed too, She said nothing yesterday but I kow the possible surgery just scared her but luckily it´s just an inflammation in the muscle that got some liquid there. Linda, mayby they are lucky to have a dd a nurse, but very often they just ask me to look at somthing and when I tell them to go to doctor thay look at me like... yeah, sure we do....
