Most of you may remember my thread when my dog fell down the cliff a couple of months ago ... Well today ... he was kicked by a horse !! He went for a walk round the woods and at the end of the walk was a field which he went into. In the field were horses and that daft dog ran straight over between the horses ... and then one of the horses went KICK ...and it all happened SOOOOOOOOO quickly and OMG then he screamed and cried sooooo loudly... The whole family (sisters, nieces, nephews etc) were on the walk and we were all horrified!! ... Anyway, he came away from the horses (of course!) and came straight over to dh and me ... and we checked him over and it APPEARS he is in fact just bruised ... nothing seems to be broken ... Tonight the whole family are ringing up to find out how he is!! I thought it was CATS that were meant to have nine lives??

Sounds like he needs some extra loving and a few doggie treats . Pablo needs to quit living on the wild side ;D ;D ;D. I am glad to hear he is doing ok.

I'm glad he appears to be ok and I TRULY don't say this to scare you, but a horse can have a powerful kick. Maybe you should phone his vet and see if they think he needs to be looked at further. Just a thought.
Poor Pablo! He's had it rough here lately! as well as his "mama".

On behalf of Pablo THANKYOU !!! .. Christy I agree so much ... and I DID ring the vet "hotline" which our insurance company runs ... and they got me to check a few things over with him and basically said "It sounds like he is fine .. but just keep an eye on him for any sign of pain or limping" ... Happily he really does seem ok!! Oh Linda I think you are RIGHT !! ... ;D ;D As a puppy he was a real "handful" and quite a challenge to bring up!! ;D Now at the "sensible" age of almost 5 he has learned to control many of those earlier behaviours BUT he is still prepared to take risks where other dogs will not venture!! ... ;D Yikes though!! That makes me and the cat the only two WITHOUT it in this household!! ;D ;D

Yup so is my dog ;D ;D ;D I hope Pablo is OK Duke runs arounf the club and scares me to death..doesn't help that Tim antagonizes and chases him But as long as he seems OK, I wouldn't worry
