There is a touch of fall in the air :DThe air feels crisper....It is cooler at night.Have you noticed it is getting darker sooner? Fall is my favorite season of the year. The air conditioner is off and the windows are open We have had a mean hot humid summer...a lot of thunderstorms but no tornados.

I can't say I feel it but I CAN say I am definitely ready!! Unfortunaely it is usually AT LEAST the end of Septemeber before we start to feel the crispness you speak of. I am with you on the hot humid summer. I know y'all have dealt with it just as much (if not more) this summer as we have!
Fall is my favorite season too so I always start to look forward to it once school starts again.
So, bring it on!!

Today is the first day I can say I haven't been melted by 9 a.m. Maybe some would call it "crisp" to not be wilting!
I am planning a trip to New England before the month is out... I am praying for COLD mornings. I have already tried to find my sweat shirt and sneakers (have only worn sandals since May!)
THINK SNOW!

Another fall person, I love fall!! the crispy air, harvesting, coloured leaf´s all of it.... It´s deffenately coming already, sun is shining but there is this colder breeze in the air and night´s are deffenately darker in here. Only minor negative thing in autumn is that it bring´s winter a step closer

I was just wondering how long it would take you to find this thread !! ;D ;D I didn't think it would take you long!! ;D ;D I have to agree with the touch of autumn (Fall) in the air ... its here too in the UK ... I only noticed it for the first time today ... and just as you describe Linda our evenings too are getting shorter ... It is now dark by around 8.45/9.00 whereas a month ago it was after 10:00 ...

Oh yes I have been noticing the difference in the evening and in the morning with the darkness.....How do you all feel about the energy bill the president signed that would push back daylight savings time? I am all for it as I hate daylight savings time~~but will it really make a difference? Also it don't even go into effect for another 2 yrs and by then I will have forgot about it ;D ;D. Trid I wish I could say I need to find my sweatshirts but I have been wearing one the last few mornings when I take dh to work as it is that chilly out. Riley even wears one to practice in the morning Yes a big sign that fall is in the air.

I have always said they should just split it down the middle..adjust it one time by 30 minutes and then leave it alone. The only thing that worries me is the kids that have to wait for busses or walk to school alone in the dark morning hours.
