:-[But it's about 45 minutes away and I hate to drive on highways. So I'm more nervous about getting there than being there. My anxiety level is way up Are you taking him OUT OF STATE? or what! ;D I didn't know there weren't any dentists close to you. I have to wake Shaun up in a few minutes to go to the orthodontist... I know he would have needed braces anyway, but getting hit by that car year and a half ago... it just seems like a never ending thing. The orthodontist is nasty to Shaun, and to me. Last visit I started screaming at him and left in tears. He was blasting ME because Shaun doesn't have very good brushing technique... Well, let's see... the kid has a fine motor problem, and Mom, who is left handed has no grasp strength in her left hand and can barely get her own teeth brushed without tears, so I don't do a lot of brushing for him. Today I will attack his teeth before we go... I brushed him twice last night too. I already took my pain meds so that maybe I can brush without too much discomfort. I love the kid, and I hate for him to have nasty teeth, but I can only do so much. And for the Dr. to berate both of us for something I can't really change easily just really irritates me... the guy could have been a school teacher with his sense of compassion for kids! Why on earth did he get into a profession where most of his patients are kids? Sorry, about the So, time to go wake up the kid...

My dentist says that root canals aren't that bad, and he doesn't understand all the hype about them, except that maybe it comes from the pain before they are done (the problem causing the need for the RC), not the procedure. I didn't ask if he's had one done, though.

Well, Mikey did AOK :DThe dentist is very nice, but I didn't get up the gall to make an appointment for me. The lady asked for payment arrangements way to quick---just kidding. From what I have of the reciept, our insurance is awsome. So Far they have done $504 worth of work and we are only being billed $90. I paid $20 today, and he has 3 more scheduled visits. I think the dentist wants to put a spacer in like i had........ Didn't do any good for me, as I feel around in my mouth, but it didn't hurt----pun intended----either. Anyhow, was it M/C that said they are just going to come out anyway? Heck, get them to rip them all out and give me detures. I'll be good as long as I don't forget to put them in before i eat That was one of many running jokes in our family ;D ;DWe would always have to hold up special dinners so mom-mom or pop-pop could go get their teeth ;D ;D ;D
