We just found out thursday night that we are going to state with pony league baseball. The only problem is it starts tomorrow. We spend fri and sat trying to raise some money so everyone could afford to go. We raised enough to pay for a motel for a week and meals, so state here we come. The boys are going tonight, and my DH will go up after work since he works half way to where the tournament is in Lancaster TX. I cant go, still have to work, but I am looking forward to the late night "catch up" phone calls. DH is off on tuesday and wednesday, so he will be there to see some of the games. Our baseball teams dont usually do so well, so everyone is very excited. It is going to be lonely here without DS or DH.

Well they lost last night, but since it is a double elimination, they still get another chance. Now they move to the losers bracket, and if they win they can keep playing. The lights in the field they were using did not work, so they stopped the game at the 4th inning, and had to restart when the other game was over so that they could use the other field with the lights. Andy said they got home after midnight. I thought I would enjoy my time with no kids or hubby, but I think I am comming down with a cold. My eyes are all ichey and red. OH well, it never fails does it.

So sorry to hear they lost, but better luck for next game  i hope your flu doesn´t get worse, so typical to get sick when you´re all alone and could really enjoy the empty house... then again, being sick alone is much nicer than being sick and being forced to do all the daily-duties  Get better soon  |

Well we won last night by one run. I guess it was an exciting game. This means we get to play again tonight. Boy has it been quiet at home. Amber called from her friends house and told me her throat is sore. I hope she is not getting sick, she does not have a way home untill Monday.

:'(We lost last night, so the boys will be home sometime today.  Dan is very sad, and disapointed right now. I am glad that football 2-a-days starts on monday, it wont give him much time to brood over the loss at state tournament. |

The boys should be proud of themselfs for getting as far as they did. You sure are not having a dull summer are you?  Take care of that cold...summer colds are alful |
