Okay now you all have to share some of the rain...they took it out of the forecast AGAIN and I have two pickup truck loads of flowers sitting in my back yard waiting to be dealt with . (just when I thought I was almost done my bestest friend brought me flowers..she is such an angel ) I love getting flowers..but not necesarily by the truck load.. ;D ;D We are 10 inches behind in rain and NEED those storms so everyone stop hogging all the rain. please and thankyou I think even the KIDS would welcome the storms at this point..I mean whats a tornado or two when you have seen one you have seen them all.... ;D ;D ;D I had to get outside and start watering at 4:30 this morning... I will never be ready for snow tho.

They soy beans are brown and the corn is already firing..poor farmers are losing their rears and yards are burnin up...(not good for me). They also just planted 376 trees at my favorite hiking park this year and they dont stand a chance. PLUS I have dozens of new cool flowers for my yard sitting out back that I reeeaally want to plant somewhere...I will make more room under a sidewalk or something ;D ;D ) We need the rain..

Glad you are ok Linda (and everyone else getting these bad storms)! I understand a couple came through here last Wednesday and Thursday nights. Knocked the power out here in the computer room on the second shift guy. It was out for six hours which ain't good in a computer room! lol I understand it was pretty bad though. We were in St. Augustine by then and I have to say we never saw one drop of rain! Even with that Tropical Storm in the Atlantic! It was VERY hot though! The ocean breeze was not much of a relief. Be careful everyone and yes, do stay inside! This heat can be quite dangerous! We are expecting a heat index of 110 today. It was about that yesterday and VERY rough on my hubby.

It is VERY rough on the people that work outside! My son is a roofer and when the temps get that hot I worry about him.
