Are any of you familiar with jobs working from home on your computer? I sure don't want to get sucked in by a scam, but surely there are legit companies who utilize stay-at-home-moms and their skills. Any info??

DONT DO IT >.. I sent in the money for it once a long time ago, and they STOLE my money. I called and called to see what was going on, and nothing. Then they closed up shop and bailed out of town. It seems alot of people do this to collect tons of money from people who think it is a legal job .. but in all essence its a scam. Check with your local BBB and see if there is anything said about who your choosing. BE VERY CAREFUL.......

Good advice BlueOreo.....The only other thing I could think of was being a Tech.,but that would mean leaving your home.Be aware of that too because everytime I call msn and talk to a tech........I get very frustrated with them.

I think that there are some insurance and medical offices that allow you to work mostly from your home, just a few meetings. Maybe that is worth looking into. Miles

the main thing to remember is, if they ask for money up front (for "supplies", etc.), they are most likely fraudulent!!!

S/A a good thing to look into is taking some college courses to become a medical billing specialist. I looked into it and you could just get a certification and then you could work from home. In some instances a billing corportation will set you up with a new computer so you could work from home. I was looking at just a community college and you can also take online classes. Might take a little time now but would be worth it if you could work at home. The only reason I didn't do it is because I would have to take a full load of classes and I would have to start in the fall and there is no way I could fit it all in right now~~~maybe after the kids are grown and out of school I will take some classes.
