A quiet week..

It has been too quiet around here Bud went to bible camp this week with a friend. Jared has no one to pick fights with or annoy and he misses his big brother.
Bud gets 3 square meals a day, swimming,hiking, basketball and other sports, 2 canteens a day where they get to have soda and snacks and candies, crafts,
cabins with running water and toilets, and alot of other kids to meet..oh and three 15 minute sermons...fore 40.00 for the week. Why dont they have mommy and daddy camps..I wanna go ..we couldn't get a clean motel room for a night for that price. ;D
In the meantime mom here is finishing moving Bud into his new room in the basement (where the a/c works very well and we wont bother him while he programs)
We moved Jared into Buds old room (closer to our room so I can hear better) . Last weekend Jared snuck out back at 1:30 a.m. and I had to get up and play hide and seek. He was in the yard and very mad cause I had made him go to bed while Bud and Jimmy got to stay up later. (preteens su*ck rocks when they are mad) ;D

Try hauling mattresses and furniture down three flights of steps But I want it done before him and Jimmy (his friend) get home. Did I mention that I have the worst sore throat , ear ache, and chest cold that I have had in a long long time. Cant wait till the Bud gets back..he is always such a help with his brother and in doing things that I just am getting too aged to take on by myself. ;D

M/C sorry to hear you´re having flu , the positive thing in this is that you´re having a quiet week isint that usually the case; when thing´s get quiet otherwice, some nasty virus get´s us

Glad to hear you´ve had quiet home this week, that´s so nice every now and then. I had mine totally eery, when all 3 of mine where at my sister´s for 2 night´s

I hope you get the moving done before he come´s home.... GOOD LUCK, GET BETTER SOON!!!!

I wondered where you had been!!! Boy there is nothing worse than a summer cold...take care of it.

It does NOT sound like a quiet week to me. Sounds like a work week. Hey....why don't you and bobo find a motel room?

;D ;D ;D ;D we dont get a motel because it would put us and Jared in the same room with no play station for a night ;D ...we dont have anyone that would be willing to take him for a night...plus I am hacking and whining alot ;D ;D might cause a divorce ;D ;D
We were lucky enough that my best friend took him to the movies with her grandkids Monday. He seen Fantastic four and had a huge slushy (sugar ice and food colors) and a big old bag of cotton candy (sugar and food colors). He still hasn't come down to earth. ;D

It is easier to find a sitter for overnite when the kids are little...but Bobo wouldn't leave Jared with anyone anyway..he is just funny about leaving Jared. It is tearing him up that Bud is gone again so soon after the river trip. I count myself very lucky that he cares so much for his kids..alot of dads out there dont seem to these days
After posting last night I gave the cat some meds and the cat jumped off the counter where I give them. I turned around realized I lost the feeling in one leg and came down like a tree..twisted my ankle and landed on my wrist ,arm and head. (sometimes things like that happen when I do too much while not feeling good...I know better than to push it to that limit) Today I am going to take care of gramma and then come home and just puttter about and count myself lucky nothing got broken. Last week I fell down the stairs one morning at 4a.m. same thing . Soooo I really shoulda known better than to push things when I dont feel good. Just call me clutz.. ;D ;D


You dont realize how much help your kids are till they go away for a week. It does get eerily quiet ...even with Jared around. No fighting , wressling, or rough housing.... ;D

I am glad BUd is having fun tho. I hope he met a girl ... Jared had a friend stay over and they were still up at 5a.m. (they're gonna be cranky in a few minutes.)
Well now i am late...everyone stay out of the heat and have a nice one today.

It is sooo nice to have my kid back home...however they bibleized him and he keeps scolding me for cussing. (who's the parent here anyway??) The deprogramming and seperating myth from facts may take awhile. He met a girl but she doesn't live around here. Sure is nice to have someone to listen too...he seems to do all the talking now. (must be part of growing up) He had a wonderful time and wants to go back next year or sooner. He went to two church services Sunday..one with me then another church with his friends. I am just glad he doesn't drink,smoke,or carry on like some other teens around town. I think I am so lucky to have him...it's been a real interesting summer to say the least.

M/C, that sound´s good, he had lot´s of fun you´re right, it´s nice to have camp´s/relative´s to have our kid´s for a while but it sure is nice to have them back home too I think it´s much better to be interested about bible than drinking/partying/ etc. at his age (for mom´s sanity at least ;D)
