Ok all of you organized folks, pull out your official written down "to do" lists and add up all of the things on the lists. How many things you got written down? Are you busy? I have 47 things at home, and 63 at work. How about you? Miles

I dont have a to-do-list...other than the one in my head and boy, that´s a long one ;D ;D ;D ;D I wouldn´t follow the list even if i would have one, so it´s better to have all the thing´s in my head, that way I cant loose it (too far.... )

Oh, Lord! I HAVE to have my lists - just writing things down helps me remember them. Right now I have at least 5 things to do personally (not counting work). Some things I've started (like leaving messages with tutors) but have to follow-up on. Those are the ones I seem to forget because starting to me means I've " Done" them.

OMG my "to-do list" is a bloody legal pad. both sides of the pages.. I looked at my calendar for last month and I had 87 doctors appoints alone for me, the kids and the animals.. (2 dogs, 2 cats) oh yeah and one for an oil change for the truck 65 miles away. Then ya got the grocery store, vidoe store, pay the bills at 10 different places, the post office to mail them, the shoe store, the cell phone store for the bill, and not forgetting the 3 trips to Wal Mart daily cause you keep forgetting things. I think I had ONE free day last month with nothing to do.. now how did I manage to do that one.. ;D

Did you say my try not to have to do list? Just kidding. I'm finishing a house I built from scratch by my self right now while I am doing the inside of my sister's One-hundred-fifty thousand dollar add on. I call that my work for now. I am developing a technology module that will hopfully be bought by all of the school in Texas to make the new technology needs usable by every teacher. Life is crazy. That is just the tip of the iceburg. I'm going to have to slow down and look for a chick in fast forward. My dog doesn't talk much, but that can be a blessing too.

I'm really big on lists--in fact I think I need to have a list of all my lists in order to keep track of them! ;D Unfortunately, I spend more time making lists than I do in performing the tasks on them!
I'd better start a new list. I just finished working mega hours the past few weeks, especially this past one, and now we are supposed to be leaving on vacation--we won't be able to leave until Tues. I need to figure out what we need to do before we leave.

OMG dont get me started on vacation lists ;D . Seems I have to make a little trip on August 5th to collect my DD who is down in Juneau at Bible Camp. Seems my sister isnt sending her back by jet , she is bringing her to Whitehorse BC, and wants ME to drive 10 1/2 hours to pick her up. Well thats all fine and dandy if I didnt have 2 dogs , 2 cats and 2 boys here still. This means I need to get Canadian insurance forms , copies of my divorce and legal parentalship to the children, health certificates for the dogs = money for vet , (cats can fend for themselves for up to a week with feeders ), money for gasoline along the way , money for hotels , money for food , and thats just the start for the roadtrip . lol.. yeah right, Miss Gotrocks, I am not. It would be cheaper to fly her back then go through all this , BUT NOOOOOOOOOOO she wont fly her back for me. Said I need a vacation get-away.. HECK I can think of a better place like Hawaii with my new honey and the kids instead of Whitehorse BC to got to relax.

I have been WAY TO BUSY this week to look at the web site... this morning, before I got out of bed, I made a to-do-list for the next 9 days. I decided to treat myself to a few minutes luxury before I start in on it, and this is the thread I checked first... ;D
The list I wrote up this morning has:
12 major categories
The total of the 12 is:
1. 27 2. 9 3. 11 4. 11 5. 6 6. 10 7. 8 8. 8 9. 6 10. 5 11. 12 12. 4
So, let's see that makes: 127
Just remember, that isn't the "every day" stuff like do the dishes or cook dinner. This is the good stuff, like paint the ceiling, change the wall paper, hang a new ceiling fan, repair a window screen, clean the blinds, wash the draperies, clean the oven and the air conditioner filters.
I think I will go back to bed! I have until the boys get back from summer camp next Saturday to get this done. Sleep will have to wait!

Trid....have the boys help you....or is it easier to do it yourself? I made the list BECAUSE they are going to be away for a whole week. This is the stuff that is UNDOING what they have been doing since last year's week of Boy Scout Camp! Yippee! The whole mess of a house, all to myself for a whole week starting at 10 AM, and I have 127 items to do in 7 days.

My husband calls me "Miss List". That's because if it's not written down, it doesn't officially exist. I can't remember a blasted thing unless it's in the notebook next to the computer, or on my desk calendar. I don't keep a long list in my notebook, maybe a dozen things at a time, but I've noticed that a couple of those things never seem to get checked off, no matter how many times they appear on the list. That's why my "garden" is a tangle of weeds as high as my head and the bathroom wall still has a lovely bare sheetrock patch I haven't managed to paint yet. But I guess if it's on the list, I'll get around to it eventually...
